  Highly recommend

  I highly recommend this resort, especially for solo women travelers. The location is perfect, but what truly stands out is the incredible staff. My friend and I (both female) missed our bus to an excursion, and the team was extremely supportive—they quickly arranged a reliable taxi at a very reasonable price. We never felt unsafe, not even for a moment. The food was another pleasant surprise. We are of Indian origin and vegetarians, and for the first time during our travels, we didn’t miss Indian food at all. The flavors were excellent and there was plenty of variety. A special mention to the reception staff, Jose and Arturo, who truly made our day by allowing us to enjoy the all-inclusive benefits until we left for the airport—7 hours after checkout. That level of hospitality meant a lot to us. This has been one of the happiest stays of my trip, and I would highly recommend this resort without hesitation.

  Sleep lacking, rooms tired, staff great. Loved location

  The location for this hotel was great. The beach and Caribbean Sea beautiful. There are 3 good pools, including an adult pool with swim up bar and sun beds were available in most areas. In the main restaurant there were always plenty of options, hot or cold but the layout could make it tricky to access areas when busy. The rooms need an update! Dated looking with an open sink area near the beds, privacy wall would be good. The air con was noisy so we switched it off at night but unfortunately our room on the back of the hotel suffer from loud mechanical noises from huge air con units on the ground units on the ground floor. Nothing could block that out so sleep did not come easily. Our concierge was very warm and friendly on day 1 but as we did not wish to attend the timeshare demo that they were selling hard he never interacted with us again. On a positive note the rest of the staff in the bars and restaurants were great, They work very hard and always raise a smile for the guests.

  Family Christmas Trip

  This place was fantastic - clean and nice, beautiful beach, fun and accommodating staff. Service was excellent and it is clear that everybody works hard to keep the place running smoothly. Easy-going, laid-back vibes, good WIFI, great views, entertainment staff are fun and engaging. Rooms need a refresh, but are clean and comfortable. Location is great. All-around great option for family trip.

  Laura is an excellent help to us. Jennifer is also excellent too. Very helpful. I enjoyed it much. It is a memorable time.

  Ok for 1st timers, great beach and ocean access

  If you’ve never been to Mexico this is an ok hotel for you. The ride from airport is short. That’s a plus. We booked shuttle directly with hotel and our flight was cancelled. The person at the airport kept track and made sure our shuttle arrived to get us. This hotel is too small in many aspects. Not enough seating for buffets ant any time of the day. So come early for each meal . Lines everywhere morning for the reservation for dinner. Lots of rooms don’t have balconies so clothes stay wet, nowhere to dry. No wall between room and bathroom- light and washing hands will wake your partner in the night. The hotel is fairly quiet if no one is dragging their chairs on the floor, especially above your room. The rooms facing the back do not have a good view. It’s a mall/clinic with a very loud mechanical unit working on the ground floor under the windows. Of course room a/c provides its own soundtrack. The beach is the only saving grace. No rocks. Food variety was lacking but after 9 days our family did not experience any digestive problems. Of course we brush our teeth using bottled water. There are some attractions- a 20 min walk on the beach going left from the hotel will get you to a small Mayan ruin next to Westin. Look for a mount covered in greenery with ruins on top. A walk along the road going from the hotel right about 20 min will get you to La Isla - an outdoor type mall with an aquarium, Ferris wheel, wax museum. So location of the hotel is good.
