This place maybe a 2 or 3 star resort. There google reviews I think are fake making it that high. I have stayed here for 4 days. And that all u need no more than that. If I knew that this resort was this disappointing wouldn't have come. Think it's better to get a airbnb. Service and maintenance is poor here. Bars and snacks bar close to early. And entertainment not the best. At nights cant even walk on the beach theres no lights, or security. Raccoons every where in the restaurant outside, by the pool or on the pool. Outside your room door. Seems they dont care of this rodents everywhere. u just want to relax and drink till 9pm then this is the place for u. If u wanna party and drink till the morning. Than this isn't the place for u.

Every time we visit this place we are very impressed by the quality of attention they give to foreigners. We thank the staff for the quality care that gave usIt is worth mentioning that Central American food is one of the most delicious that exists worldwide, and this hotel is not far behind has one of the best culinary arts in Central America.

Great experience!
Personel was so kind and proffessional. Kyoto japanesse restaurant had the most delicious sushi I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend this place to share some nice quality time with your family.

I highly recommend the Occidental tamarindo
we had a very nice time here. Very good food, friendly staff, beautiful location. One of my favorite parts was seeing all of the iguanas around the property.
