Dance classes and more!
David and Yadira were amazing at our dance lesson, the salsa and bachata were incredibly fun. We had an amazing honeymoon, and loved everything. Thank you for amazing service.

My friend and I met in Mexico for a girls trip, and chose this resort for the low-key atmosphere and wildlife. The great: - The room itself. We booked a Deluxe Concierge room and ended up in building 18 on the ground floor. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Room was very clean and spacious. - Brigitta and Daniel at the concierge desk were helpful and friendly, and we looked forward to seeing them for a chat throughout the day. No sales pressure, just genuine interest in how we were enjoying our stay. - Bartenders were always happy to fill up our Stanley cups for us, and the drinks were great. - The amazing wildlife. The monkeys, coatis and deer were abundant and it was so special waking up to them every day. The good: - We enjoyed the food 90% of the time. Lunch was the only consistently mediocre meal. The choices at the beach buffet for lunch ranged from fine to poor. We are not hamburger or hotdog people, so those may have been great. We learned to fill up at breakfast, which was consistently awesome food (chilaquiles every single day!). Dinners were pretty great, as well, and we had some standout dishes at night — the tamales and white wine mussels at the buffet, the aguachile, chile relleno, and panuchos at La Hacienda. Loved the fish tacos at Paco’s Tacos! And there was an abundance of vegetables and fruits always available. You won’t starve here! I found the food flavorful in almost every case, and if you need a bit more salt that’s easily solved at the table. The less than good: - The walk from the lobby area to the beach during the hottest part of the day is rough. The tram was a godsend, but I wish it ran a bit more frequently. - The Sports Bar was an oasis of air conditioning, but did not show any of the games we wanted to see which was a bit of a letdown. - So many mosquitos. The resort is in a jungle, so you expect it! Even with bands and the highest strength bug spray on, we ended up getting bit a ton. It happens, I’m not sure there is anything to be done about it, but something to keep in mind if you’re considering visiting this property. The bad: - Nothing! There was not a single thing about this resort that I would classify as bad. In summary, know what you are booking. This resort is not close to anything except Xcaret Park, so if you want hustle and bustle and raging nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you want a peaceful place with good food, great drinks, friendly staff and spacious/comfortable rooms, give it a try. If we make it back to this part of the world, I would certainly stay here again.
