Terrible experience – unsafe and unprofessional hotel This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. The woman who checked us in was especially hostile and made us feel unwelcome from the start. Multiple rooms did not have hot water, which is unacceptable for a resort at this price level. These issues were never properly fixed. The most serious and alarming incident was that $200 USD were stolen from the room safe. We reported this immediately, expecting the hotel to take the situation seriously. Instead, the staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and defensive. The hotel refused to take responsibility, offered no real investigation, and provided zero support. This made us feel unsafe and ignored. A hotel where money disappears from a safe and management shows no interest in helping guests is not a place we can recommend. Between the poor service, lack of basic amenities, and complete lack of accountability, this resort failed completely. We strongly advise future guests to think twice before staying here and to be very cautious with their belongings.

Loved everything about this hotel. There is something for all ages . Would 100% return. Cannot fault it. The beach is amazing, clean towels throughout the day whenever you want a fresh one, buffet breakfast is amazing, the rooms are big and beds are so comfy

Family Friendly - Would definitely do it again!
Our family had an amazing time here. It was our first time in DR, and everything was made easy. We organized pickup with Amstar which took us to the hotel. As Preferred Club members, we checked in at a different lounge which was very comfortable and had snacks and drinks available while we waited. Overall, we loved 75% of the food at the resort. The best meal was the hibachi at Spices (you must made a reservation) and next time we would probably try to eat here 2x. Our worst meal was at Cin Cin. We enjoyed the steakhouse and Italian restaurants as well. The Carnival buffet was overall fairly good. We did not utilize room service so not sure if that would have changed our opinions on the food. The ocean was great, 80s water temperature with enough waves to keep the kids (and adults) entertained. The pool water was definitely cooler but they have a lot of activities that go on around the main pool to keep people engaged. The hot tub was also very popular. Other things to note: be prepared to walk. Everything is flat but things are spread apart. We enjoyed that for our family as a way to get steps in, especially if you are eating so much! They had an awesome arcade game / bowling room that my kids enjoyed. Be prepared to tip everyone that helps you, just a few singles here and there.

I was at this resort for two weeks and just returned home, left feeling underwhelmed and disheartened. The staff overall seem unhappy and sad to be at work. After having interactions with senior members of staff I now know why. Ana at the front desk is someone who has stood out to be particularly unhelpful and rude. We had multiple issues with our room and was met with no understanding, an u willingness to help and overall sarcasm. The entertainment has also been underwhelming. Apart from this there are various members of staff who always take a pleasure in making sure we had a pleasent stay! We appreciate that they have worked through family holidays and are greatful for their service !
