A beautiful located beach hotel
This hotel was wonderful. It is on a great spot on Eagle Beach and has rightly won many awards. There are not too many rooms (72) and they are only on two floors and built in a thatch building style giving it a tropical island feel. Compared to the high rise hotels further down the beach this is another level. The rooms are good and well fitted out. The views from the ocean view room were great and worth paying for. The food in the restaurants in the evening was some of the best we have ever had on all inclusive basis. The Chop House was particularly good. I would recommend all inclusive as it is quite expensive otherwise. Mexican night was great. The spa was also very good and would recommend the massage. The concierge service fixed up some good trips and activities for us. The evening entertainment was quite low key and it would have been nice if there had been more going on. The only negative is that this is not an adults only hotel and generally does not encourage families as the facilities are so limited for children. However at the tail end of our holiday a family with four children arrived who dominated the quite small pool playing ball games. It was quite annoying as this was the only pool. I think this hotel needs to decide what market it is aiming for as it is marketed for romance, wellness and relaxation and has a very grown up vibe. Children are not necessarily a great fit for this sort of hotel. Nothing against children but there are better hotels for their needs.

Magical Week in Aruba!!
My wife and I went here to celebrate our Anniversary, and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was very friendly and made us feel like family while we stayed there. A special shout out to Andrew who had a great smile, and greeting for us every day. Rooms were super clean, and they even had a complimentary bottle of champagne for us as an anniversary gift. It was very private and not crowded at all whether we wanted to lounge at the pool or sit in the cabanas at the beach. Food and service was terrific at all 3 restaurants. It was our first trip to Aruba and we are already planning to come back. Taxis were affordable for any day trips, or you could rent a car right from the resort. Thank You Manchebo for a magical week!!! We will be coming back.

Best vacation ever
Our stay at Manchebo was absolutely incredible and we will definitely be back. We opted for all inclusive and the food was absolutely incredible. So many options and all very tasty. The staff at this resort were all so welcoming and all seemed happy to be there. They all take pride in their work and were all very hard workers. From the groundskeepers who kept everything meticulous to the waiters, waitresses, and bartenders. They all greeted you with a smile and treated you like family. Just to name a few top people in our stay: Jean, Harold, Cornell, Liz, Julian, Raniek. We had a garden view room and it was so beautiful and even had a fountain in that area which was so soothing sitting on our patio. I could go on and on…. If you are wondering if you should book just do it. You won’t regret it. Thank you Manchebo for our unforgettable stay❤️😉

10 out of 10!
We just returned from an incredible 4 night stay at Manchebo Beach resort celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary. I am an admitted hotel snob and found the Manchebo resort to be absolute perfection for my tastes. My husband and I are not all inclusive or mega resort people. We also don't like overly fussy hotels like a Ritz Carlton. We prefer boutique hotels that feel more individualized and that's exactly what Manchebo is. First and foremost, the staff at this hotel set the tone for a friendly, relaxed stay. Everyone working here is kind and welcoming and seem to genuinely enjoy you being a guest there. As the hotel is fairly small, even with our only being there for a short stay, we were always greeted with a 'welcome back' at the beach or restaurant. Honestly, this may be the case for all of Aruba as we did find everyone we encountered to be so lovely, both on and off the resort. As for the rooms, we had a partial ocean view and it was beautiful. The rooms are small but they have everything you need and nothing you don't. I appreciated the extra touches like the supplied reusable water bottles (why don't all hotels do this!?), the makeup mirrors, and the fluffy robes. The other nice thing about a smaller hotel is that everything is just easy. Forgot something from your room after you've already left for the beach? It's just a few minutes walk. The bathroom isn't an epic journey from the pool, etc. The rooms and grounds are also spotlessly clean. You can tell the staff takes great pride in this hotel. As for the food, we were so happily surprised that the options were both delicious, abundant and included a lot of healthy choices. I am still thinking about the tuna poke bowl. We opted for a breakfast included stay and I anticipated a few variations on the continental breakfast but I was completely wrong. The breakfast menu alone had everything from acai bowls to bagels and lox to decadent waffles. Everything was delicious and fresh. For dinner, we only ate at the hotel once (at Ike's, which was great) and then explored off site. The nearby shopping center has a very cute Mexican restaurant but it isn't nearly as good as the food at Manchebo and it was also much more expensive. We did make reservations for our last night at the resort next door (Elements at the Bucati) and this was an incredible meal...both the setting and food were very memorable, but again, we barely had to leave our own resort to get there! As for the beach, I don't think we have ever visited a prettier spot than Manchebo. It is stunning. The water is so clear, there isn't a speck of seaweed and the sunsets from here are unbelievable. We have visited a lot of beach destinations and this was easily at the top of the list. If there was one suggestion I would make, it would be to add towel clips to the chairs so that your towel didn't blow away. Aruba is very, very breezy so keeping things in place can be challenging when the winds pick up. As for excursions, we rented a car from the rental place located at the front desk so it could not have been easier. And they are not kidding about some roads requiring a 4WD vehicle. The concierge also set my husband up with Aqua Windies, a nearby dive shop, for him to do a refresher dive followed by a half day dive excursion and this dive shop was top notch. They take safety very seriously and have very experienced dive instructors. I took advantage of one yoga class while we were there and you cannot beat that beach front yoga pavilion with the ocean breeze. It was so lovely. We did not use the spa although it looked gorgeous. Honestly, we were so relazed it really wasnt necessary! Mainly, we were there to relax, and we did a lot of that. All you have to do is stick your flag in the sand, and one of the beach valets will come check in to get you whatever you need. It was an incredible trip and the Manchebo resort was an excellent place to stay. I would love to come back again.
