    Amazing Resort!

    Our family stayed here for a week–this is a fantastic resort with excellent service, gorgeous beach, beautiful pools, water features and gardens. When we first arrived we were welcomed by staff right out of our transfer vehicle and made to feel welcome and helped out with suggestions and services at the front desk upon arrival. We came from a delayed flight and this was really appreciated. Service Anytime we needed anything the service was friendly and quick at the resort. They include room service which we ordered and it came in about a half hour and was always fresh and delicious. The minibar is refilled daily–lots of selections–different pops, water, beer and even snacks. Room We stayed in the one bedroom suite and this room was perfect for our family– it had a murphy bed and sofa bed and a king in separate area as well as a sliding door to separate the 2 sides which was really nice to have. And the kids side had its own separate 2 piece washroom which was really convenient. The jacuzzi on the balcony was perfect and our room faced gardens as well as we could see the ocean from the side! Beach The walk to the beach from our room was quick and easy and anywhere on this resort it seems is a short walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful–white sands, lots of chairs–they had tiki huts as well as covered beds. Whether sitting by the pool or beach, it was really nice that there was service staff that you could order drinks from, and they bring it right to you. It's no problem getting towels and there are several areas for towel returns as well. Restaurants If you’re like me, food is important at a resort. Majestic Elegance has lots of delicious selections at the buffet and wonderful a la carte restaurants for dinners. You don’t need a reservation except for the Kabuki or adults only and we had no problems walking in to restaurants. We tried Il Botaccio (Italian), Don Jaume (steakhouse), El Mariachi Loco (Mexican) and Kabuki–all were very good. We really enjoyed the dinners–our favourites were the Italian and steakhouse. Thanks to Diego at the Italian restaurant and also Diego at the steakhouse for excellent service. And the show at the Kabuki was awesome–funny and impressive! We also tried the McJestic, the kids loved this one, really fresh. We really loved the buffet by the beach–Mar House, it had a nice view of the beach and delicious selections for lunch. There is a host at the buffet that seats you and a server comes to bring any drink you like when you are seated. My favourites at the lunch buffet Mar House were the tacos, tortilla chips and pico di gallo and guacamole, also desserts including ice cream. Our family had an awesome time here, I would recommend for the proximity to beach and pools, delicious food, very clean, professional and friendly service, and an overall feeling of fun and relaxation–just what you want on your vacation!

    Great time - first Mexican visit - but likely not our last!!

    We were very happy with our first experience here. The room, staff, entertainment… we had a wonderful time. Two staff members in particular were wonderful : Maryanne (guest relations/reception - incredibly helpful) and the young girl who was in charge of the dancing at the parties- either Pao or Fao. She was lovely. We plan to return next year!!
