My sister got married at this resort in September and our whole family made a lovely vacation of it! There were kids ranging in age 6-17 plus all the adults. There were special amenities for everyone to enjoy, no matter the age. Huge shout out to the ladies in the Kids Club, especially Estrella, Alondra and Diana. These ladies made the young kids in our group (ages 6, 7 and 8) feel so welcomed and special! Whether it was pool-side crafts, a trip down to the beach to build sandcastles, braiding their hair before the wedding (that was a sweet surprise) or indoor activities in the Kids Club room, our kids LOVED every minute! My daughter still talks about how much she loves Alondra and how she felt comfortable practicing a little bit of Spanish 🩷 As parents of young kids, it was so nice to have a breather with the help of professional, kind and engaging on-site childcare!

Great Christmas 2025 & new year 2026
We stayed for 1 weeks over Christmas and New Year’s. Overall, it was excellent. Majestic resort chains never disappoint. But, I found Mexican resorts have better service. The staffs are extremely friendly and they do go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They are all smiling and in great spirit. The place is spotless. When we arrived, the resort was much more quieter. We stayed at the Club 18+ plunged pool section. It has couple of Members Only lounges, an exclusive pool and lots of other things. The resort has 6 a la chart restaurants, 4 of them is based on 1st come 1st serve. French and Japanese need in advance reservations. We went to all restaurants and it was great. The buffet is excellent. I cannot find any flaws or problems. Everyone was friendly and professional. Nobody expects you to tip, you get the exact same service with or without tipping. Our butler Enrique was fantastic and always kept in touch. He made sure we are having a great time and taken care of. Our made Angelica made sure our rooms (we had 2 side by side rooms) are well done and she did do a fantastic job. She even came twice a day. Both fridges were filled daily and we had coffee makers and kettle in both rooms. The rooms are spacious and adequate for 2 adults. The plunge pool was amazing! We would hang out there after lunch. 24/7 room service was awesome. Jose and Raul at the steakhouse were super friendly, funny and professional. We had a great dinner there. We never tried the fast food restaurant, we went to bed pretty early. Maybe our adults children did, but not sure. Christmas dinner was excellent and the nee years party at the buffet was top of the life! They transferred the place and they served all sorts of food from around the world. Again, we have stayed at Majestic in Punta Cana before but Costa Mejures was much better. Mirage just opened up next door and we just walked over. It’s beautiful. Thank you Majestic Elegance for making our Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 a very memorable holiday. We will be back!

My wife and I recently, spent 10 days at Majestic El, Costa Mujeres. Having stayed at numerous 5 star resorts in Mexico both on the eastern sea-board and western sea-board. Our stay at Majestic was just OK... the strongest point, staff members, exceptional. They are so polite, willing to accommodate, and helpful. The bar tenders are knowledgeable in mixology and the drinks served were all top shelf beverages. We found the resort clean, beautifully groomed grounds, and in general a beautiful resort. We found only the French restaurant was commendable. The best meals to be had otherwise was at the "Buffet." Our room.... well I would say was perhaps 3 Star calibre.. moldy grouting, poor painting, splashed about, very poor caulking and finishing, 2-3 star furniture..The most glowing comment we can deliver was for our butler " Alejandro". He is the nicest gentleman, kind, hard working, knowledgable, and completely made our stay worthwhile. Alejandro is to be most commended. Majestic Elegance has a real gem working for them.

Butler service - Amado is a superstar!
Butler service - Amado is a superstar I wanted to share a massive thank you to Amado, who made our entire trip so very special. Amaso is so kind and professional and went out of his way every single day to make sure we felt spoiled and taken care of. Amado was always available, and responded to our questions within minutes. Amado would come and find out family during the day to say Hi and check in on us. I have no words but to say thank you for the care Amado provided to our family.
