Jan 08, 2026Great Resort!! 2nd time!! Biggest and best pool I’ve been to so far!!!
This is my second time visiting this resort. My last stay was in 2012 with my wife. I always remembered it having a great pool and nice beach. This time I picked it to take my grandkids age 7 and 13. Like any resort there is always some constructive criticism to give . Pool: So the pool is still great !! Very big and you can choose if you want to be by the quiet area or the party pool. But even the party pool wasn’t crazy all the guest were respectful and my grandson played in the pool in that area the entire stay. Bartenders: No complaints with the Bartenders anywhere in the resort . But the girls in the upstairs Lobby bar in the morning were great . Very friendly. Housekeeping: Rooms were always cleaned well and any request were always granted. Guest services: So this trip was a Christmas gift to my 2 Grandchildren. I wanted to surprise them with a video welcoming them to the resort from the staff. I called guest services a head of time and shared my idea with Illiana from Guest services and she made it happen. She was so nice and friendly to talk to . I also let her know we would be celebrating my wife’s birthday while we were here and when I got here we planned it out to make it special. She personally went to our room and decorated it with Beautiful balloons, which my wife loved . She is truly a great example of Guest services!! Food: The food was pretty much comparable to other resorts I’ve been to. Not the best but not the worst . Steak House service with Jesus was Excellent!! He really went out of his way to make my wife’s Birthday Dinner Great!! Really nice guy!! Great work ethic. Ricardo was my guy for breakfast and Lunch !! Great worker and also great work ethic and always so nice to my family . I went to him on my wife birthday and asked him to make breakfast special. Not only did he decorate table in a short notice and sing happy birthday with special treat with a candle but he brought his entire team for a song and dances and drums lol!! Juan J was the star of the Birthday show dancing and singing with my wife , he was also so nice and also great work ethic!! They really made it memorable!! The Hibachi was Great !! The Big Guy that was the chef which I did not get his name was the best Hibachi Chef I have ever had in my lifetime and I’m from New Jersey!! He was everything funny, kind he took pics with my grandson and his food was great!! Towel Guy!! Again forgot his name but my Towel Guy every morning was great!! Shows : Circus show had alot of talented performers and kept our attention. Rock Show was Terrible lol !! Michael Jackson show was great all around!!! Overall this is a great resort and I would return!!

The Majestic Colonial is a beautiful property. We upgraded to the Colonial Club adults only section. We had a group of 10. Javier was our butler. He did an amazing job with our group. He checked in with us daily. He set up a birthday surprise for my parents and romantic evenings for couples. The entertainment staff were great, especially Anderson and Franklin. We played games by the pool and had dance lessons in the evening. We can’t wait for our next trip to the Majestic Colonial.

Best Family Vacation- We love Javier!!!!!
Amazing time at the Majestic Colonial. The resort was beautiful and so clean. Our favorite part was the staff! Everyone was so friendly and fun, specifically Javier. He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay super memorable. From surprising our grandparents with birthday decorations to checking on us by the pool every day, he was always present with a big smile on his face! We will miss him so much. We enjoyed our dance lessons with Anderson and will be practicing for next year.

NJ family traveling for a great time!
We are from NJ and everything went very well. From the check in to the check out process. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant and efficient. Ricardo, Tomas and Jesus were waiters we ensured we had cover our tables whichever shift they worked. Their hospitality alone made our experience even better. Nathalie was very helpful with our drinks and when our family fell ill she definitely helped assist us with their specialty drink to make us feel better. Thank you Nat! Thank you so much for all your hospitality. My family will definitely visit again. The Michael Jackson show and Circus was a hit by the way. Thank you so much Majestic.❤️. We will see you very soon!

Vacation of a Lifetime
Majestic Colonial Punta Cana was an experience my family and I will never forget! It was such a relaxing and fun vacation! The view was breathtaking. The staff at Majestic Colonial are everything! They are so kind and attentive. I want to give a special mention to Agapito. From the moment we stepped onto the resort he made our stay wonderful. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He is truly the best! The entertainment team is to be applauded, they know how to deliver a performance. Michael Jackson was our favorite night! The food was amazing, offering six different restaurants. The drinks were delicious! Everything about our stay was perfect! Majestic Colonial was one for the books!
