Nov 16, 2025We love the Majestic Colonial
Our room was very nice and spacious and relaxing. The showers are nice but could use grab bars. Our butler, Alex was very sweet and was helpful in getting us a wheelchair for my husband. Checking in and out was very easy. Our resort was very clean. We were transported to and from resort to the airport very easily. The resort is very energized with activities and shows. We meet a lot of people from different places and by the end of the week everyone is like family.

Our only dislike was the bathroom in the Club section. There is a separate area for the toilet but the door was so close that at times, you had to open the door to be able to arrange clothing, etc as the area is so small. Staff are amazing and especially our butler Agapito, maid Francesca and the main lobby bartender Carlos! Lots of eating options but our favourites were the Japanese restaurant - specifically the Teppanyaki and the Steak house on the beach. Rooms do need some updating but nothing major and we would definitely consider staying here again! Beach and pool were great as well!

Amazing staff, great atmosphere and delicious food
It was our first time staying at an all inclusive and the experience was better than we expected and well worth the price. Our butler Darel greeted us and showed us around the resort when we first got there, answering all of our questions. He was helpful the entire week - making our dinner reservations, arranging golf tee times, perfecting our pillows, checking often to make sure we were having a good time. Our housekeeping Miguelina was so friendly and made sure that our room was spotless and put special touches every day to make us welcome. The food and service was good and quick in every restaurant, but Alejandro in the Rodeo Grill/Hispaniola went out of his way to remember our food/drink preferences and make us feel like VIPs. We enjoyed the live music and shows available every day, and were specifically impressed with how Adriana was able to get people up and dancing and involved without ever seeming to take a break. We had so much fun and felt so cared for the whole week. Of course the beach was great, lots of chairs in the sun and shade. The breeze on the beach was welcome at the hottest part of the day. The pools were beautifully landscaped also with plenty of seating. There were plenty of bar locations and wait staff able to bring drinks. There were plenty of non-alcoholic options as well.

Great time
Our third visit. Great time had by all. Only downfall was our rooms TV did not get the World Series games. Considering I am an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan this was very very disappointing that it was not rectified. With that said, the staff was again absolutely fabulous. A special shout out to Loyda and Fernando who both work extremely hard and do an amazing job st the adults only beach bar. Thank you both for making our vacation so wonderful, and please know that your hard work does not go unnoticed.
