Beautiful beach and exceptional staff!

This place is beautiful! The grounds were amazing and the beach was beautiful. The food was good, but, very repetitive. We traveled as a group of 10 and were very satisfied. The entertainment is lacking compared to other resorts we have visited. No one bothers you here, no means no and that means A LOT! We would go back tomorrow. It was a great place for the money and the drinks were top shelf!

Beautiful resort landscape, excellent beach, lots of shade and pallapas to escape the sun, many choices of food to satisfy any dietary options; specialty restaurants were not to our liking and we end up eating at the buffet all the time. The real coffee lovers will find what they want at the lobby bar, were we hang out at list once a day for good espresso and cappuccino as well as good drinks. Huge downfall is the room with old mattress and outdated AC with lots of noise that was not regulated due to very old model, It just was blowing cold air and not taking any humidity out of a room; that caused all your sheets to feel wet and very hard to sleep in. my suggestion is to bring flannel PJ or your personal sheets to protect your spine, as I got a back problem on a 3rd day sleeping in that condition. will i come back here again? definitely yes if there will be upgraded rooms in a future.

The beach was amazing! Sandy and beautiful. Many good options at the buffet and to make reservations for. We liked the steak house the best. Room was nice and kept clean. Room service they have you use an app. Which doesn’t always work. Only thing that was pretty disappointing was the excursion. We wen snorkeling to the Catalina island. There was two very full boats full of people and we only got 20 minutes to snorkel and the spot was cool for being a first timer, but not many fish to see.

Worst food ever

My and my lady friend both got food poisoning, so that ruined the trip for us. Other than the food the facilities were nice and all employees were nice.

What's to Love

It's an all-inclusive, everything-you-want escape haven.

Chillaxing with a cocktail at the epic Lighthouse Bar that's right on the beach.

Destressing with a beachfront massage, Turkish bath & other goodies at the spa.

The sand castle building, mini-golf, horseshoes and more for the kiddos.

What We'd Change

The food at this resort is wonderful, but you may not be the only one feasting. The mosquitoes can really go to town here, so be sure to pack repellent.

Why You Should Go

It's about an hour and a half drive from the Santo Domingo airport. Nap time.

At the Aquarium, nearby, you can see aahmazing coral.

Don't miss the snorkeling/scuba at Dressel Divers Center - there's a fee, but worth it.

If you need an extra twin bed for a teen or little one, just ask - you can get one.
