Girls trip
Always felt safe, staff friendly and good food everywhere. We tried new foods with a lot of different restaurants. Did not have folks trying to hustle you for a buck.

Hyatt excellence!
We had a fabulous relaxing one week vacation in Aruba in Oct 2024 and Oct 2023. We have stayed at other high end Grand Hyatts in Hawaii; and Aruba maintains the same level of excellence. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They have been there for many years and are quite attentive. The remembered us from our previous trip. We really enjoy the regency club upgrade for breakfast, snacks and happy hour. It’s a great start to our day with a beautiful relaxing view. We also like the ability to reserve our pool chairs and the cleanliness of the pool. In 2023 we wore wristbands. In 2024 we did not need to wear wristbands and noticed a “pool crasher” one day. He was creepy and definitely not a guest. I informed the pool staff but they were hesitant to approach and question him. He eventually left on his own. I do think wristbands should be required for a reason, for our safety and in fairness based on the high price we pay to stay at the Hyatt. Looking forward to another vacation next month, hoping the new owners have maintained the same level of excellence and hospitality.

Worst experience
One of the worst experience this time. Yes, it’s my second time here with family and will be the last time. First strike was the water slide was not working. Kids love the water slide but it was non operational this past weekend. There were no water volley ball or any other entertainment planned. Second strike was the business center’s printer out of ink. How is it possible that the whole hotel staff can’t figure out how to replace the HP printer ink. Called them Friday about it, then again on Saturday, Sunday and today is Monday. Still no ink in the printer.

Hyatt Regency Aruba - hidden gem hotel
I had an overwhelmingly positive experience at the Hyatt Regency hotel. Although my visit was a brief 2 1/2 days, having relocated from a self-proclaimed "top-tier" hotel, I can confidently say that my time here was far superior. Every aspect, from the efficient check-in process to the exceptional customer service, delicious food, pristine beach, and inviting pool area, exceeded my expectations. This hotel truly understands how to deliver a perfect vacation experience. I particularly enjoyed being able to relax and unwind while sipping a curated cocktail and listening to the Caribbean music that permeated the atmosphere. The unique aquarium setting with beautiful Koi fish around the restaurants and pool areas added a natural and earthy charm. The staff and service were absolutely unparalleled—ultra-attentive, courteous, and highly professional. The pool was impeccably clean, and the swim-up bar was very inviting. The beach bar was a lot of fun, featuring a DJ playing a diverse range of music. In the evenings, the central bar offered live music, where I enjoyed a delicious espresso martini and watched football alongside other vacationers. The casino also had a lively band and a great selection of slot machines, blackjack, and roulette (though I noted the absence of a poker room). I also appreciated the availability of late-night snacks until midnight. The coffee shop was well-stocked with a wide variety of choices, and the fresh-to-order pizza and sandwiches were excellent. The convenience store was also a lifesaver, providing all the basic necessities, including items for children. While this hotel may not be the most modern or updated, it more than makes up for it with its exceptional service and amenities. I would absolutely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to others.
