Family Trip
Although I did not book my stay through my American Express Platinum account, I contacted American Express beforehand, and they advised me to mention this at check-in since Hyatt properties often honor the associated perks. When I brought this up to the front desk, the representative was quite dismissive and repeatedly said no in a rude tone. I then asked to speak with a manager, who took several minutes to come out. While she explained that she was unable to honor the Platinum benefits, she did kindly offer complimentary breakfast for my husband, daughter, and me the following morning, which I appreciated. Later that evening at the hotel bar, the waiter initially spoke to us in another language, not realizing we also speak English. Shortly after, we heard him speaking English to another table in a noticeably friendlier manner. This difference in treatment left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. At checkout, I called to request a late checkout due to a flight delay. The first front desk agent declined the request rather abruptly. I called again and spoke with the manager, Erica, who was professional, understanding, and accommodating. She graciously allowed us to check out later, which I truly appreciated. I was also surprised to see multiple attempts to charge an additional $200 beyond the initial $200 deposit due to a $7 bar balance. This seemed excessive and concerning. While I appreciate the gestures made by the managers I interacted with, the overall service experience was inconsistent and not reflective of the hospitality I typically associate with Hyatt. I hope this feedback helps ensure better communication and consistency across staff interactions, as I would love to continue staying at Hyatt properties in the future. Thank you again for your

Hyatt Aruba, you are the best
Hyatt Aruba you did it again!! Travelled with my family, my two sons and their families including 4 grandkids. Special shout out to Gabriel and Annie. You guys are doing such a great job with everything there. Everybody from maid service to beach service. Been coming to Aruba for many years, about 15 times and I must say that it’s better than ever!! I’m an early bird so every morning I would be in lobby having coffee. I would talk with the employees cleaning and security guards and they were all pleasant!! Special shout out to security guard Yanni, what a great employee you got there!! Thank you again to Gabriel and Annie, you have made our dreams come true!!❤️

Girl trip
The Hyatt exceeded my expectations…from a warm welcome upon arrival to the cleanliness of the rooms and the resort. The beach and multiple pool areas were clean. Nice mix of all ages, families, newlyweds to older couples and friend groups. Food, drinks, service, gym, location, grounds, casino all meet my high expectations.

Hyatt in Aruba—Our Home Away From Home
We have been coming here for years. The Hyatt is clean, with new furniture and changes being made daily. The staff is outstanding and will ensure that your needs are met. As for their security, I want to share an incident that occurred during our stay. While returning from dinner, an 86 yr old man who was a guest at the neighboring resort (Barcela), fell at the entrance to the Hyatt hitting his head on the ground. Security 0fficer, Edward responded and helped us administer first aid for the serious head injury. Edward attempted to call the ambulance and Barcela however no one responded. The supervisor, Gary and Edward made the decision to transport the elderly man to the hospital in their vehicle. They did not care or question if the man was a guest of theirs but only worried about the well being of this poor man. This is what sets the Hyatt above the rest and why we felt comfortable bringing our kids here for years. I hope that the new owners truly recognize and take care of their outstanding, loyal staff members and do not just focused on their profits. Only time will tell.
