Best Resort I've Ever Been In

First off this resort is as gorgeous or even prettier than it looks in pictures. As soon as you arrive to the resort you are greeted by their excellent concierge people all around the resort. They explain everything you can do and explain everything about the hotel. The architecture of the resort is just gorgeous. The views of the pools and the beach is something out of a postcard. Theres so many restaurants and bars with different variety of food all around. The rooms are amazing and beautiful with hammocks and rainfall showers. Theres so many trails and bridges all over with bicycle trails to the parks. Just the fact that you can go to every park whenever u want is just incredible and worth the value. This is hands down most likely the best resort in Cancun. I will defenitely be back very soon.

Best Ever!

My husband and I have been to Mexico many times and have always stayed in an all-inclusive resort. This is by FAR the absolute best! It is gorgeous, comfortable and accommodating. The customer service is outstanding; the restaurants onsite are wonderful; and you get a tremendous value for your money. I would absolutely recommend Hotel Xcaret Mexico!

Beaching trip with two littles!

Traveling with young kids can often be called anything but a "vacation". We've traveled quite a bit with our two (ages 2 and 4) and have learned that the image of a vacation where we will be relaxing on the beach is almost laughable when the reality of meltdowns, missed naptimes, constant snacking and sibling squabbles, and at least one suicidal toddlers' death-defying bid for freedom into the ocean, or off the dock, or into the street, etc. make it anything but. That said - Hotel Xcaret got as close as anything ever has. They took care of EVERYTHING, food, snacks, transportation, strollers, towels, life jackets, and all those other things that are so little but can really ruin a vacation if you forget them (which I often do). There were "safe" little beaches next to the big ones where they could run around without a parent needing to be on high alert, and the hotel room was so nice with the ocean view and hammock in the breeze that it made naptimes feel like vacation too, instead of just impatiently waiting on them to wake up so we could do the next thing. The staff was so friendly, and many of them really seemed to enjoy kids, sharing a smile or a little treat with our girls when they saw them. By the end of our stay, my oldest (who really is kind of a homebody) felt safe and comfortable enough to really open up. The resort is beautiful, with so much to do and see that we were happy to spend a lot of our time there in the various pools, beaches and restaurants. But we also LOVED the parks! Having the all-fun inclusive package was amazing and well worth the price. Quick transportation, food, and equipment all included at every location, so we could just GO! Just scan your wristband and bam! You're a rockstar. We visited Xcaret park twice and LOVED floating the river together (even the 2 year old had a blast!) and seeing the birds and butterflies and swimming at the beach. It was the perfect mix of zoo exhibits but with the natural jungle inhabitants making their appearances to really add the adventure (the kids had a blast watching the staff shoo away a couple of wayward flamingos who were a little too friendly). We also went to Xenses, and that was a really original concept, and a lot of fun! There were quite a few things the littles couldn't do there, but we had a fun, and full, afternoon with the things they could. Highly recommend both parks! Can't wait to try the others next time. Overall, this was a great vacation for a family with little kids. To be honest, we are usually more of a camping family than an all-inclusive one, and I wasn't sure how we would feel about the posh resort life instead of roughing it in nature, but WOW. IT WAS SO NICE. I have to say I am so glad we did this. It was the least stressful vacation we have ever taken, the kids and adults all came back recharged and happy, and we will definitely be back.
