Feb 13, 2026Very unpleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Aruba
I spent one week here in January and another in February, and unfortunately both visits were disappointing. I have been bringing my kids and extended family to this resort for nearly 30 years. While there have been updates to the pool and check-in area, the overall guest experience has declined significantly. If you’re expecting a relaxing vacation and a good night’s sleep, be aware that both ends of the building are located near nightclubs. There is loud music pumping until 3:00 a.m. on some nights, and the sound carries directly into the rooms. During my stay, I saw guests every day who were exhausted and trying to switch rooms. I had a conversation with the hotel manager, and she acknowledged there are serious issues with noise and guests having a poor experience. While it was somewhat less noticeable in early January, by the time I left on February 13, 2026, the resort was overwhelmed. Expect 15–20 minute lineups for breakfast and regular queues at the front desk for assistance. I understand this property offers good value for families. However, if rest, relaxation, and a resort that can handle peak season are important to you, this may not be the right choice. We travelled here consecutively for more than 10 years when our children were younger. Sadly, what was once an exceptional resort now feels more like a three-star experience.

We had an other wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The room was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The service throughout our visit was excellent — attentive without being intrusive. The on‑site Gelato and coffee shop were also a highlight! Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and made our trip truly memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and a pleasant experience.

It’s my second time staying in the Holiday Inn Aruba, the location of this property it’s great, rooms and hotel needs some updates, but after all, not too bad. The big don’t follow the front desk. Check-in was a disaster, long lines, miscommunication, took me a long time to check in. They absolute need to improve in this area. Beach pool was great.

Vacation away from the snow.
Amazing time at the holiday inn. I was really pleased with the service, and the rooms especially Ana from house keeping. Kyle the bellboy was great with assisting us with our bags and locating our taxi. Very welcoming

Amazing Bar Service
Hugo was the BEST server at the pool area!!!!! He never forgot us, he was always there for us with a smile on his face! Everyone should ask for Hugo.. he is at the Oceanside restaurant/bar. Amazing service!!!!!
