Just returned from our trip to Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. Of course with any vacation there are pros and cons. Actually at this hotel, the pros outweigh the cons. The service at the hotel is terrific. With our membership, we get butlers. Jessy is the best. She is always there to help you, either in person or by phone/text. Whatever we needed, Jessy would be there. She is like family. On the other hand, her partner, Hector, never came over to us in nine days. He even avoided us when he saw us. We approached him and he said he was busy. When Jessy was not there, we were helped by Victor, another butler, since Hector didn’t want any part of us. Victor is also fabulous. He brightened our day. Other butlers were also accommodating to us. The dinner restaurants are somewhat limited. Zen-teppanyaki, Ciao-Italian, Toro-steak house, Frida-Mexican buffet, and Isla-seafood and steak. Zen only has teppanyaki. They stopped having a la carte dining. The meal in Zen is very good. Ciao is probably the best restaurant. The Italian dishes and the filet were excellent. Toro was also a very good meal. As for Isla, we actually walked out before completing our meal. The menu selection was more like lunch for dinner. The burrito was a hand-held sandwich with French fries. The appetizers were fair. My steak was horrible. It came out rare and I sent it back. When it came back, it was cooked better but still looked awful. It was supposed to be flank steak with shrimp. I don’t really know what kind of meat it was. It didn’t taste good. Frida for breakfast is very good. Hector and Gray are our favorite servers. Two of our dinners were the Halloween and Day of the Dead fiestas. The hallway and ballroom were decorated beautifully. The food buffets were excellent with many choices. The Day of the Dead show was entertaining. The hotel is in the process of remodeling. They should really close to do all the renovations needed. We stayed in one of the partially renovated rooms on the third floor. There is no drawer space for clothing. Two small drawers for underwear. The closets are big if you want to hang up clothing. The location of the room wasn’t ideal, as it was near the restaurants and we had birds on our balcony constantly. We had no sun on the side of our room so nothing dried that we put on the balcony. The nightly shows are enjoyable. The entertainment around the pool was okay, but not what it used to be. One foam party a week is enough. The bands and music are very good. The bartenders were very good and accommodating. You can get any kind of drink, no waiting, and not skimpy on the liquor.. Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is a very friendly resort. The staff is like a family to us. Hopefully when renovations are completed we will return for another great vacation.

Felt like royalty here. Our butlers Jessy and Hector were very attentive and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Can’t wait to go back, it was beautiful!! Esli went above and beyond to make the atmosphere in our room wonderful with aromatherapy every night. One of our nights, we found our room covered in rose petals and our hot tub full with warm water and lots of suds, so romantic! Highly recommend! Thank you for the great service Jess, Hector and Esli!! Oh and we don’t want to forget Willy at the bar, he was great, awesome service from him, so very friendly and hospitable. He went out of his way to make me my favorite drink from the 80’s, a Singapore Sling, had to be resourceful and use juice from the maraschino cherry jar to replace one of the other ingredients that wasn’t on hand. It was awesome! Thank you all for making us feel like kings and queens!!

Request Luis for a butler!
First time staying at a Hard Rock and first time visiting cancun. We loved everything - especially the beach! The sand was really soft and the beautiful water was the perfect temperature. Food at Toro, Ciao, and Zen was delicous. The best part of the whole trip was how our butler, Luis, made everything so easy. Whatever we needed, he was on it! He anticipated what we would want/need, before we even thought of it. He booked our excursions with ease and ensured we had great spots on the beach. and If you are able to get a butler, request Luis, you won't regret it!

Honeymoon in Cancun!
My wife and I went to Hard Rock Cancun for our Honeymoon and it was a great time! Everyone is nice and ready to help you with anything. We had Jessy & Hector as our butlers and couldn’t ask for better. Thank you again!
