  Great first visit

  Resort and room were gorgeous. Food and restaurant servers were great! We are Legendary HOF members and did not have a Butler our entire first day for only a 3 day/4 night quick trip. So that was disappointing. Hector found us before dinner our 2nd night and said, “he had been trying to reach/contact me since arrival!” I had no contact with him at all so did not appreciate that comment. However, Jessy then took over as our butler and was absolutely wonderful!!! She went above and beyond for us, and I would gladly take her as our butler again at our next visit.

  Escaping the Canadian cold

  Had a wonderful time as a quick getaway from the cold in Canada. Thanks to Jesus, Oscar and Javi. Your drink service was amazing!!!!

  Hard Rock Cancun Rocks with the best staff and excellent food! We’ve been Hard Rock Cancun for many years and what brings us back year after year is the outstanding staff. AND, I’m so very happy to say, that then entertainment staff is BACK!! to being excellent with Omar as the new manager and wonderful, friendly, warm hard-working employees. Bravo to all! I love that there is rock music again (with some great Zumba Reggaeton-Latino music), rather than electronic music. I’m glad that the music is loud enough to enjoy, but not so loud that you can’t talk. The only time that it was very loud is during the foam party and the aqua show…especially is your room is nearby and you want to enjoy it from your room. Bravo…oops, I wrote that already, but I truly mean it. Yay! The food is also much improved with Chef Isaac who is very talented and takes great pride in his work. If there is a problem with your food, they truly want you to let the staff know about the problem. I was so happy that they now have a section in Zen for a la carte for those who don’t want to have hibachi or sushi! Great idea. I’m also very happy that Isla changed the menu and has steaks because the steak restaurant Toro is so busy. And I loved the quietness of Ciao because it is nice to be able to have a great conversation at dinner. I noticed that in Frida, they have tried putting a few sound-proofing panels up, and hope that they will do more to make this restaurant, and the others, a little quieter. Another suggestion for the restaurants is to lower the background music so people don’t have to talk over the music. And it was so nice to see Chef Muneca once again!! This year, we, as members, were treated to a delicious steak lunch, and a fish fry complete with grilled fish as well as sushi, shashimi and Oysters! And special cocktails! WOW! My only suggestion is to find a better way to notify members. And we love the coffee and pastries by the smash bar in the mornings. Great idea!! The resort has been trying for several years to renovate, but it has been difficult for them to have enough vacancy to complete the project so they are closing down for a few months. I have no doubt with the existing management, it will turn out great! As I mentioned, the staff is excellent and I want to mention those who made our trip special: • Entertainment: Omar, Jonny, Diana, Christopher • Bellman: Vitaliano • Ciao: at dinner: Selvino, Beto and Eduardo. at lunch: Marisol and Santos. And Jacqui is always so helpful and smiling. • Other waitstaff: Angel, Jesus, • Towel chicos are all great! Tacho, Edwin, Tony, Angel, Bicho, Faust • Toro: Gray, Nestor, Alma, Jorge, Mike for Breakfast • Snack bar: Mary, Janet, Irma, Oscar • Zen: Nice to see Damien • Toro : breakfast: Gray, Alma, Jorge, Mike Chac, Fany and Miranda. • Frida: Peewee, Rosario, Williams, Gever, Chel • Special functions: Passillas • Other: Lupita helped me with restaurant reservations every day because of the glitch in the app which didn’t allow me to make reservations for more than 2 people. And it is wonderful to see Paolo in training for a new well-deserved position. • Vacation planners: Blanca was so helpful as always and able to help us with a challenge. • Bellman: Vitaliano always smiling and helpful! One suggestion is to have another person to help make pizza during lunch. It was so nice not to hear barking dogs this year.

  Amazing Experience at the Hard Rock Cancun!

  We spent a wonderful six days at the Hard Rock Cancun. While I've stayed near this location before, I've never stayed at the Hard Rock. I actually ran by it one morning a few years ago and thought "That looks like a fun place". I was right! This is a beautiful hotel that has a lot of activities and a pretty nice gym! So if you like to stay active, this is the place for you. We enjoyed the yoga, Aqua Gym, Aqua Zumba, Foam Party, and volleyball. Uriel, Dian, Christopher, Omar and Johnny were so fun and entertaining! I danced so much my feet hurt but had an amazing time! The food and service was excellent everywhere we went and drinks were easy to come by, including coffee at the coffee shop. Paola is the friendliest person there and seemed to be working constantly our entire trip, but always with a smile. Thank you so much for the expressos (and expresso ice cream)! The room - while losing a lot of room to the hot tub - was very nice and modern. The bed was very comfortable too! Barely used the TV or Wifi because the facility is to be explored. The beach and pool areas were very clean and well maintained. They even had chair and umbrella staff to help you out with every last detail! The resort has some nightly shows at a cool outdoor concert venue at the front of the property. The pre-concert staff was very entertaining and we got to enjoy the Guns and Roses and Queen tribute bands. GNR was fine, but Queen was amazing! Never had so much fun at a tribute band concert, but the singer was Freddy Mercury reborn! The also have an African and Michael Jackson night, but those were Friday and Saturday when we weren't there. I highly recommend the Rock Royalty level. We found it very easy to make dinner reservations or get pretty much anything on demand, no matter how big or small. We had a team of concierges, but Jesus really stood out. He was friendly, kind, and extremely helpful! That said, the team of Raul, Coral, and Uriel were also super friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed and more. Again, I highly recommend this upgrade. I didn't even mention the private pool, snack bar and bar on the 3rd level! I want to give a special thanks to the awesome people that work at the resort.   Best Ocean

  My wife and I (members) just returned from the Hard Rock Cancun it was our second trip there in a year and a half. We were there in August of 2024 and were informed they were closing for a remodel (the pool) and were told they are closing late this year for a much-needed remodel. First off, we love this place and can't wait till next year to return. The service there is the best of all the Hard Rocks we stayed at from Carlos and Chel at Frida who had our table ready each morning for breakfast and lunch who went above and beyond every day. Marcos at the pool bar had my wife's and my drinks ready before we even got to the swim up bar. And Daniel in the lobby Smash Bar was there every night making sure we had everything we wanted. If you do go the 3rd floor snack bar look for Jose he was amazing. The entertainment nightly from the Violist to the saxophonist and the guitar player in the lobby were amazing. Rooms Definity need a little work but can't wait to come back next year when back open.
