Beautiful Grotto Bay!
If you're hesitating about making the reservation, go ahead and make it. Just back from girls' weekend with my adult daughters and GB was wonderful. The rooms are basic (spacious and clean, with awesome views if you get an ocean view), and yes, the property has a lot of stairs, so that's something to consider. Those are the only caveats. The place is lovely, with a spacious lobby and a cool property, literally a 5-minute drive from the airport. We were just there for the weekend and didn't leave the resort (that will be the next trip) or feel we needed to. The beach is small-ish but with soft sand and calm crystal waters--we paddle-boarded and snorkled and got our vitamin D. There was a lovely diverse group of people there--we met Europeans and Americans and everyone was friendly (why wouldn't you be). There were lots of families but also couples/friends. Check out the caves, and if you can, do a spa treatment for a special experience. I also was grateful we did the all-inclusive--it was really wonderful to not have to worry about where to eat and how much to spend. The food and drinks were very good--Hibiscus the standout. But the best part was the staff, specifically the restaurant staff. They seemed to move between the three restaurants on the property (did they leave? did they sleep?), and were so attentive and kind. We'd definitely go back without hesitation.

Very nice!
Grotto Bay was very nice. Lots of steps so be very careful. Everyone working there was absolutely awesome. Food was good overall. We did have the all inclusive. If we go back there I would probably only get the lunch or breakfast deal. Great vacation but be very careful on the beach there are many large and small rocks everywhere and I actually hurt myself pretty hard on a jagged rock. Just be careful. Enjoyed it so much.

Paradise in Bermuda
First off, we have been to most of the islands in the Caribbean several times and this was our first trip to Bermuda and we were very impressed with the grounds at Grotto Bay. We did not do the all-inclusive but we did have lunch most days and dinner at Hibiscus twice and it was very good. Oceanfront room was nice and housekeeping did a nice job every day. The front desk responded immediately with our clogged shower drain and remediated the problem. Thursday night BBQ buffet was awesome and well worth the price. The beach was perfect calm turquoise blue water every day during our stay. We would like to recognize June who was very knowledgeable and assisted us with excursions and dinner reservations. My only complaint or issue was on Saturday 6/21/25 we were chased off of our loungers at the beach at 2:45pm. A sign was put up blocking off approximately 1/3 of the beach stating “private party”. We cooperated along with many other guests and removed our personal belongings but there were no available chairs so we just laid our towels at the other end of the beach. The staff continued to bring more and more loungers to the private event area but as of 4:15 there were no people at this private event. Other guests were complaining also. So we went back to our room and luckily decided to go off premises for dinner that night. We started making our way towards the lobby to get a cab and saw large crowds of people dressed up for what we thought was possibly a wedding. We stepped out to get a cab and there were a hundred people or so standing and taking pictures. Unbeknownst to us the resort was hosting a high school senior prom. There were no bell men available and no cabs available at this time. We finally spoke to someone at the desk and were able to get a 5 minute cab ride to Tom Moore’s Tavern. We got back 2 hours later to Grotto Bay for the DJ entertainment at the bar and it was jam packed with prom parents hanging out “non-hotel guests “. We went back to our rooms that night very disappointed. Several guest expressed to us that they felt the same way. We feel that Grotto Bay should have been transparent and informed guests that there was going to be a private event on the beach and that they were also hosting a high school senior prom. Other than Saturday it was a pleasurable and great vacation stay at Grotto Bay. Tom and Rose

Excellent Stay
I have to give this a 5-star resort. The only suggestion is to reserve a room close to lobby otherwise you will walk up steep hill to room. The cave was a great signt and swim The beach was clean and pool was perfect. The servers were amazing! Esteban, Belvan, Michael, and Veronica (Kitchen Manager), front desk (AJ) were extremely friendly! The food at Hisbiscus, Palm Ct were extremely good! The breakfast was so good too!!!! We cannot wait to return!

Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa
This is my second time staying at Grotto Bay Beach Resort. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. Grotto Bay Resorts offers many options to dine, ranging from all-inclusive to a casual Bayside Bar & Grill next to the pool. Grotto Bay Beach Resort is in a great location. It is a 10-minute taxi ride from L.F. Wade Airport. Want to go into Hamilton or St George's to shop or dine, walk down the resort's driveway and catch the local bus into town. A five-minute walk from the resort takes you to Crystal and Fantasy Caves, Swizzle Inn, Bailey's Ice Cream, and Blue Hole Park. Snorkel with the fish, relax and swim at their private beach, or pool.
- AdvisoryWe are delighted to advise you the new Palm Court Restaurant is open! The restaurant will offer a new menu and more seating, yet still serve up the delicious food and friendly service that we are known for, with even better views. The contemporary Island inspired design and Mediterranean-Bermudian themed menu will complement the dining experience further against the backdrop of azure ocean horizons from every angle.
