Currently staying at this hotel from the 3rd of February for 14nights. We have not had the best starts to our trip with the hotel have to change our room three times on arrival due to the first room being dirty and not up to the promised standard in the TUI brochure. Failed to give us the room we booked. The lack of interest in resolving our room issue was less than helpful and sadly has put the management and some staff in a poor light. We are now three days into our stay and we have come to the Mexican restaurant and sat at the table for 30 minutes when I had to ask to be served, the waiter seems very unhappy and not helpful at all and to be honest the experience from him is disappointing to say the least. Apart from the above other staff members have been nice and friendly. Having been coming to Mexico for the last 17 years I have to say this trip so far is a disappointment and I could only give a negative review and would not come back based on our stay so far. I will review this when we have been here for a week but cannot see this improving.

We arrived at the hotel and were put into a room with no handle on the balcony door and a broken toilet seat. We were then moved to another room which had no chairs on the balcony to sit on and only one bathrobe between three of us, we informed them of this and now on day 4 of the holiday sit haven’t received either the chairs or the robes. The resort itself is fantastic with great beaches and pools, the food is also very good with a great selection and lovely staff too. Avoid the Mexican restaurant though as service was terrible and waited over an hour to get the starter and nothing from the staff to let us know what was going on. It’s a shame as we’ve been coming to Mexico for years and have always had a great experience but this is the worst start we’ve had to a holiday here so far

The atmosphere was excellent. Our host Abril was on her second day but handled herself well. Eduardo was a superb waiter. The appetizers were very good. the ribs were perfect, the new york steak was great, but the ribeye was slightly tough and lukewarm. we had the same a week ago and the ribeye was great.

Feb 06, 2026Nice Resort let down by dated rooms and lack of resolve
I have given 4 star as the resort itself is very nice, great choice of eateries and facilities. However we arrived a couple of days ago, the original room we were given was not up to standard, broken door, musty damp smell and toilet seat not attached. we complained and were offered a ground floor which was very dark and dingy so eventually got a top floor. we are a family of 3 adults, i have asked for 3 bathrobes ( only have 1), no chairs on balcony ( have asked several times), no spoons for tea/ coffee, only 2 glasses and 2 cups for 3 people. there is no door handle from the outside of balcony and the mirror has so many specks and needs replacing. we are unable to get any fresh orange juice ( it is all powdered and made up). the food is excellent , the drinks are ok and good selection. Omar in the buffet restaurant is an excellent waiter, on the whole the resort is very nice , just needs the tired rooms revamped and the small complaints dealt with.
