Don’t go

Sorry but not a good place. Barbed wire on the fence. AC broken in the room. Couch and mattress sunken in. Old furniture. Food sucks. Salty and old. Buffets always closing and amenities like room service and restaurants are limited. Only housekeeping was nice.

Do not stay here if you’re not a memeber

Pros: multiple pools, dolphin cove on resort, nice concierge Cons : the beach was not the same as photos. It was literally a ocean of seaweed and mounds of it. You smelled the beach at the lobby with all the amount of seaweed there. The food was not good. Only thing that I ate was French fries or tacos mostly. Anything else was over cooked or undercooked. I would not recommend anyone staying here personally. Upon arrival the front desk had upgraded our rooms to the newly renovated area. The room appeared very nice, but the air condition did not work, the shower turned the bathroom into a water park with the poor system put in and the shower doors not being properly aligned. All the water squirted our of the shower turning the bathroom into a kiddie pool. There was no place to place your soaps or shampoos in the shower as well. After telling the front desk the shower is not working, they said oh we just did it and it’s not complete; highly confused as to why we were placed here if it was not complete. Everything here also closes early, if you’re looking for a night life, this is not it. The restaurants as well close extremely early and what is left out at snack bars, are the left over food from the buffet. Once all the food previously cooked was done, there is no more food. The high end restaurants served the same food at the buffet. The meat was extremely rubbery or just all fat. Finally, if you are not a V.I.P memeber, you will be treated like garbage. You will not be able to take the shuttle, works just brush you off and don’t accommodate their guess. We went to a Mayan show restaurant on the resort. There was a hurricane with extremely strong wind. They placed shades to make it comfortable. The winds were strong and knocked down the shade onto the food and a family who got hit in their head. We asked the leave along with another family at our table who were members. There was rain and wind in our face and the table setting was being blown away. When the cart came, they told us we can’t leave we only brought a car for the membership people, you have to stay and wait. We spoke to a manger where they said we have to pay for the services but they will send us to a memeber restaurant which we were not interested in since we were leaving the same day.

Good for the price

We stayed at the Sirenis for 1 week. I will share first the good things of this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful, Its well designed and the scenery is gorgeous. You will find wild animals as you walk by and a lot of fish in the ocean. The rooms were superb!!!! very comfortable and updated. We loved them!!! The staff were absolutely the best! Kudos for Miguel and Eric at the buffets. They all are going a step forward for making you feel great. The pools are awesome! so big and the one by the beach is all surrounded by nature. They have a lazy river that is wonderful. All the premises are very clean and well maintained. Lets talk about the food. The food at the buffets for us it wasn't the best, its ok but is so so.. We did not like that we only could book on 3 a la carte restaurants. We only could go to the Italian and the Japanese and I cannot express how great the food was, it was delicious! For me the downside is that the Hotel is sooooo big so you have to take shuttles to get to the beach and to the buffets and they should improve on the time that the shuttles go around picking people. You only see very few white shuttles but you see a lot of the black shuttles and these are exclusively for vip members so they will not pick you up. Another thing was the elevators were not working on the reception building the whole entire week so I saw a man with a cane struggling to get to the second floor going up the stairs, they should think more on people with disabilities. The beach is beautiful with a lot of palapas but the part where you can go and swim is not the best as it is small but still we did not have any issues going in.There was a lot of seaweed but it is not their fault as it was all over Cancun and their staff did an awesome job cleaning every morning. Other than that the Hotel is worth for the value and we really liked it however I wouldn't recommend it for old people specially the ones with having a hard time doing a lot of walking or having disabilities.
