Would like Park Royal to be like it used to be. It used to be one of the best on the island but they have really cut corners in the last few years. I was hoping they had come back around but I have been having a much better experience at other resorts in Cozumel and will be going to other facilities from now on.

Very average hotel.There are very nice panoramic pool and lots of space for snorkeling. The service staff is friendly throughout the hotel, thank you! Very disappointed with the food in the buffet (La Veranda). Although there is a lot of fruit at breakfast, which is always good. The rooms are bace and clean, but they are washed with something and it smell lasts for several days. The spa was no working, only paid massages can be ordered.

Very good location with clean and comfortable facility - particularly with children. However, disappointed with the choices for vegetarians in your range of food choices. The Italian restuarant was a big disappointment as they served simple pizzas made from a frozen and not freshly made.Still had a lovely time.

Sep 07, 2025Large resort with a personal feeling.
I am usually NOT a resort girlie. But when a short vacation to Cozumel fell into my sights I grabbed the chance. The stay was for 5 nights/ 5 days at the Grand Park Royal Cozumel. I was very pleased by everything there, most particularly the comfort of the rooms and the friendly, helpful staff. Just a short 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport, the Grand Park Royal Cozumel is in a great location. It is not far from all the shops and restaurants, ferry, and nightlife. Also, if you are a scuba diver, it is just a 5 minute taxi ride to the Marina Asipona where you will likely be meeting your dive team and boat! The resort is lush with tropical plants and the landscaping around the main pool and beach areas offers an ever changing landscape of sun and shade. Perfect for anyone's preferences. At the center of the resort are the three restaurants, ice cream shop, and boutique. There is also an activity board which lets you know of all the events you can participate in, from cooking and crafts, to water aerobics and pool volleyball. And of course there is nightly entertainment to enjoy, either in the theater or at the resort center with music, casino games, or trivia. This is an all-inclusive resort, so don't be embarrassed when you just want to stay on the lovely grounds of Grand Park Royal Cozumel. All your needs are right here. Hammocks, many pool bars, all-day grill, gym, spa services, balconies on every room, outdoor showers near the pools, plenty of places for photos photos photos. I highly recommend, but be aware that this is a "children stay free" resort so you will likely encounter some rogue children unless you stay in the Adults Only pool section. Special shout out to the super friendly staff. Everyone from Reception to Groundskeepers will say hello and make sure you are having a good time.

I would not return until they are better organized. You can’t live on your past glory. Housekeeping needs to do a much better job. They were poor at best
