Nice vacation resort with beautiful beaches, stuffs are friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed the time, we will go back in the future.

Jan 21, 2026Amazing Resort with a few hicups
All I can say is WOW what a beautiful location. We stayed in the Ocean front villa deluxe and I was empresses The view was breath taking quiet location. I notice there are not many photos of the villas so I took a few. The main floor villas are with the swim pools. This is definitely not a party hotel and not really a kid friendly fun place. I found the staff were amazing, friendly and always there to help. We had a butler her name was Jessica she was an absolute gem she booked all our bali beds beach or poolside and reservations for the restaurant's, any questions or concerns she would fallow through. The location of the hotel was close to isla mall "coco bongo" and downtown the red bus was only a dollar each, The evening shows were good the activity's were ok I guess. P.S in the Lobby entrance yes annoying time share people. Hotel/Grounds kept very tidy and clean love to see the Iguanas that was cool :) The beach was amazing not to much sargassum, most of the time they remove it. Always waves sometimes rough and very breezy. Room: Very clean, beds are cozy pillows were fluffy, as for tv if your not Spanish you only get 2 stations the movies are repetitive lol we had spiderman 1,2,3 ect and fast and furious 1,2,3 ect. In the mini fridge you get pop and beer and a bottle of wine. You get refillable water bottles as you need to use the refill stations. The only thing i did not like were the outdoor chairs on the balcony they are material so they were wet all the time (comfy yes). Pools and hot tub: Pools were very nice but on the colder side the beach water was warmer. Family pool had plenty of shade if needed the adult pool not so much. The hot tub was a huge disappointment the sign clearly states adults only but everyone was letting their kids swim in it and that was a piss off I think they should have that in the adults only pool section. Or in force it............ Restaurant's: The buffet was a typical one it was not bad but not the best and was repetitive and not very fresh. The a la carte's were very yummy we got to do all but do make a reservation as we seen many get turned away. They were fairly strict on the dress code to a certain extent (what killed me the most is ladies can go half naked but the men had to be fully dressed), it sucked if you had an exclusion that morning only had minutes to change into a t-shirt and minutes to eat something The STAKEHOUSE is not all inc be cautious we gave it a try so we ordered 2 surf and turf plus an extra tail (the tails were 8oz) food was great he gave us a total but could not pay until check out it was $230.00 US for two. So upon check out if you want to pay cash it went up like 30.00+ US, so I had to use my credit card (Canadian) it was 380.00 UHG not cool... Rooftop bar was nothing special nice view though. Excursions: on site to book, me I think it's best cause if you book off site or online if there is an issue as they are third party it can be a hassle if you book at hotel and if anything goes wrong (weather ect) you get your money back.. If you have any questions don't hastate to ask I don't mind answering.

I would not consider this a luxury hotel. Rooms were ok and food subpar. Buffet was not very good. Food never hot unless you got a made to order omelet. The worst part was the cockroach I saw wandering at the salad bar (see photos). Restaurants were good but one was always closed so unless you went early the wait was usually an hour or more. Nightly entertainment was a joke! Drinks were good and all the staff with the exception of the front desk were very accommodating but I would NEVER go back there and would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Definitely NOT worth the price we paid. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else

GREAT FAMILY RESORT AND THE BEACH IS A 10!
Really enjoyed our stay. The resort is really big so lots and lots of walking and steps. Several pools in case you want to go to the adult area instead of the family pool. A couple swim up bars which were nice. The beach is right there, just down the steps. And the reason we keep coming back to Cancun is because the beaches are like powdered sugar! Such soft and beautiful sand! If you like to walk the beaches, go to Cancun. The resort had some pretty decent food. Loved the buffet for breakfast and lunch cause there’s so much to choose from. Even your pickiest eaters would find something. The drinks are not very strong, we always asked for a double and for Don Julio tequila, which by the way they do not have it out on the shelves but it’s included. I was disappointed in the gift shops though. Most all inclusive have some amazing boutiques with lovely beach wear but this hotel in particular had mostly Mexican souvenir type stuff. The resort has cobblestone like sidewalks, which look lovely but beware…you will trip on them and definitely wear your shoes when walking on them. Overall, the place had everything we needed. Lots of chairs and lounges to choose from. We had a top floor ocean front, adult side room (1701) which had two bathrooms, living room and king bed with two sliders leading to balcony. Highly recommend splurging for that view! I thought the “hot tub” was that, but actually was a bathtub with jets…..and took 30 minutes to fill up and was only lukewarm. If this is important make sure it’s an actual hot tub. Shout out to Erika! She works in the coffee shop and the buffet and she was so friendly and we hugged every time we saw each other! It was my birthday and she didn’t forget it! Yuliana was so adorable, she’s the hostess at the buffet! We hugged also every time we saw each other! Everyone is so friendly!
