Great vacation get away

I enjoyed the Grand Oasis Palm and the hotel is pretty clean and the staff at the front desk are very nice especially Omar. The food is great but I was just concerned with the snack bars where they serve the food because they were serving seafood and it's very hot outside and I don't know if the food is safe. My favorite restaurant is Las Palmas and the people and friendly and helpful, the food seems always fresh to be very presentable. I missed eating the fried banana and white cheese. The male manager was wonderful and he does excellent job with guests. The trained his employees well. The Sisal is nice to be you have to be there when they have the food ready because sometimes they don't have what you're looking for but it's good food but I wish they serve sangria in there. We went to Dos Lunas for dinner on Sunday night and I got the seafood rice but it was cold and the grilled or fish stew was not very tasty. I went the counter where they had pasta and I asked the lady for pasta with cheese like Macaroni and Cheese but she was not friendly and she didn't speak English so she gave me pasta and put a little sauce on it. My daughter asked the lady on the counter where they were making cheeseburger and she asked the lady to put more cheese on her burger and she said no more cheese but our server came by and she asked the server if she could have more cheese and the server right away gave her more cheese for her burger and made my daughter happy. La Bamba has nice seafood but the mixed seafood is too blend and I didn't care for their octopus and I think it was because it was slimy and didn't look fresh. The grilled shrimp and the guacamole sauce with chips are the best. The server was excellent and I enjoyed the sangria there but I wish I got his name. The beach is nice but the water has a lot of sand mixed and I was not too happy because and I was afraid to get the sand in my ears or my nose to get the infection. The water has a lot of seaweed floating in the water and the area that has the seaweeds are very slippery. I enjoyed laying down on the beach chair and sip my pina calada. The WhiteBox was very different type of food than what we eat in U.S. We food was ok and I was expected to have more food though but the service was awesome. My children ate at Los Agaves and I went with them and they had pizza and pasta and they liked it but eating outside was too annoying because of the birds and pigeons going to your table. Careyes restaurant was the top line but it's was too much of attention from the servers because they want to the an excellent service but they are too much on top of you and not give much time for us to talk and relax to enjoy the meal. The food is very different and a small amount but enough and we were satisfied. It's presentable and the food art is amazing. My scallops dish was a little undercook but it didn't make my sick. Thanks to the chef and all the servers for the wonderful service. I was there were more chairs around the pools and by the beach side next to WhiteBox. I enjoyed Coffee and Me every morning! Our first night, was Friday we had dinner at Maki Taco and we liked the nuddle mixed with veggie and the soup. We didn't like the sushi at all, it had funny taste and boring and dried and cold. One of the dish that looks like crab ragoon was still fronzen when they served us and they ice cream with seaweed was not tasty and maybe if it was blended like yugurt maybe it would been better so we were very dissappointed that. I got sick on Wednesday, I was votimming all night and by 11:30 pm my son went to the Front Desk to see if the staff had some medicine to calm my stomatch but they didn't have it. They called the Pharmacy to send something for me and they brought the Pepto-Bismol and my son bought it, it was expensive but it helped a bit but I was still sick on Thrusday that I was travelling back home. I was a bit dissapointed because I got sick at the hotel and I was expecting someone from the management staff to check on me and make sure that I was getting better and well enough for traveling. I feel that the manager should be concern if their guests get sick at their hotel and they should check and make some decision to get to the hospital or see a doctor and it's the right thing to do. I was dissapointed with that part of service.

Great time

Awesome place! Good things: Food and drinks were great. Service was great. Location is great. The beach is beautiful. Bad things: Too many kids in the pool. At night, there were only 2 good dining options.

Service

We have been on many all inclusive trips. We booked this one through you, Cheap Caribbean with a Charter, and I feel we were treated differently as soon as we arrived. I actually was taken back by the unfriendliness of the staff at the desks. I will say though that all the staff at the restaurants, pools, etc. were exceptional. When I called and upgraded our status to adult area I assumed we would be in an adult only area. I think your operators need to be more specific with details.

Great Vacation Destination- 2xs now

Love Grand Oasis Palm as my destination in Cancun, Mexico. This was my second trip there. The staff was over- accommodating at all times. I felt that the open buffet for breakfast , lunch and optional for dinner was fair. The White Box was my favorite place for dinner. The other restaurants were fair except for the Mexican one. This was horrible as the steak was like rubber and we didn't finish our meal. What happened to NO KIDS in the never ending pool that is for ADULTS? The kids have a pool of their own on the other side of the hotel. However, kids were all over the never ending pool , some unsupervised, splashing, yelling and leaving no space for adults to relax in peace. My first visit , a rope was separating the kids from adults. What happened to the rope? Please reinforce a policy for adults only in this pool! This was an all-inclusive to include meals and alcohol. However, on this second trip, the hotel room fridge was only restocked every other day instead of every day as it was with the past trip. This was a negative change as well.
