  Enjoyable stay at GR Solaris Cancun

  We stayed at GR Solaris Cancun to celebrate our friend’s 50th birthday. The room was a little dated, and while the food was okay with good options available, the variety was mostly the same each day. That said, the overall experience was still very enjoyable. A huge highlight of our stay was Yzrael. His yoga, Zumba, trampoline, and aqua classes were energetic, motivating, and so much fun. The yoga on the beach was amazing — what a perfect way to start the day. He was very welcoming and has a natural ability to make everyone feel comfortable and included, regardless of fitness level. Thank you, Yzrael for your incredible energy and warmth — you made our birthday trip truly memorable!

  We LOVE Solaris!

  My husband and I throughly enjoyed our time at GR Solaris. We visit Cancun twice a year and always stay at a Solaris Resort. The main reason we keep returning is the dedicated staff! Yzrael is one of our favorites!! His willingness to go above and beyond his job is something to be admired. He treats everyone with respect and makes sure they feel comfortable with activities that are outside their comfort zone. (Yoga). Rueben is another great staff member. We enjoy watching his juggling and acrobatics-he loves to have fun and makes things fun for all. Our favorite smiling face is Leo who patrols the pool offering drink service. Always great to see her and catchup. Abram and Edgar at the pool bar and Erik and Hector at the members bar are amazing. Great bartender’s that remember what you are drinking and exactly how you like your drink-HOW DO THEY DO THAT? Last but not least is the great job Antonio did making dinner reservations, excursion plans, and getting answers to our many questions. So many great people working there is why we can’t wait to return! WE LOVE SOLARIS!!!

  Solid resort with wonderful staff and great amenities.

  We had an amazing week. The staff really made the experience - specifically the entertainment crew Reuben, Ysrael and Caesar, who had the perfect mix of amping up guests and encouraging participation in activities while not being too pushy and never being annoying, as well as bartenders Antonio, Edgar and Neftali, and waiters Darvin, Daniel and Manuel who were attentive, kind and genuine. The rooms were nice and clean, with a nice balcony and comfy pillows, only complaint would be the walls were pretty thin so we could hear our neighbours at all hours. The amenities were wonderful, never too crowded. Pools were great, bars were great, beach area was okay (a bit small and weedy) but the actual ocean view and swimming was great. Food and drinks were decent, as expected for an all-inclusive.

  Its all about the people

  I would like to start saying that the MAGIC of this all inclusive is the people that makes you feel welcomed! Juan at the front desk is super attentive and all hands on! Daniel, Raul and Angel from the restaurants are beyond nice and professionals. But there’s 2 people that make a huge difference: ISRAEL & RUBEN, always smiling, always attentive, looking for ways to entertain you… Even on a cold and windy day… The first time that I went to GR Solaris they make a big impact on me and my friends, now they are our reason to go back. Great job guys!!! If you are looking for a place to have a nice family time, you should consider GR Solaris!!! *Israel, Ruben, Itzel, Marco Polo* Thank you for the extra effort and going the extra mile!!! The only reason why this is not a 5 stars review is because the format 2 nights we had to sleep in a room next to a family with a baby that loved to cry at midnight… Oh and because the guy in the white dress shirt walking around, never said hi back 🫣

  Memorable Family Fun!

  Just returned home from a week long trip with a group of 7 family members. The most memorable part of our trip was most definitely the staff…they go the extra mile to make sure your cup is always full, you’re always entertained and the atmosphere is alive and clean. Big shout out to Yzrael Aguilar (Spicy Yzzy)…I was never much into keeping active while on vacation, but he certainly did an amazing job keeping me motivated to do so! I will always remember and cherish my first yoga on the beach experience…truly awesome! Thank you my Spicy friend!! Your kind energy and love for fitness has motivated me to continue working on improving my health and wellbeing ❤️ You will continue to be a part of my fitness journey through your social media posts, so please keep them coming! Shout out to Manuel who served us every morning for breakfast! Such a hardworking and friendly guy ❤️ Food was good; great selection. My only complaint is the room doors are paper thin, so you can clearly hear the people in the hall and through the adjoining door between the rooms. The bathroom fan is also very loud and it is on the same switch as the light so you have to keep it on while getting ready.
