Amazing massage service for couples
We stayed in Feb for husband’s birthday and we enjoyed a relaxing massage from Leticia and Marisela (Cela) they treated us like royalties. Nice therapy room. Only thing I would recommend just throw some bubbles into the hot tub and would’ve been fabulous!

Would not recommend.
The staff were very kind and they try their best but the hotel is very run down with moldy smell everywhere especially in the rooms, the beach is in poor condition (very run down limited chairs and absolutely zero shade) food is mediocre at best. Was way overpriced for what we got. The water filters were not clean (where you fill out the water bottles) could be the reason why I got sick on this trip. Would not return.

Do not recommend
We did not have a great time at this resort and we are quite shocked with how highly rated this place is. The positives are that the resort is clean and the staff is very kind. Our room initially had a missing door handle, a leaking toilet, and a balcony door that was unsealed so the first two nights we had to sleep in pants and hoodies because it was so cold. They fixed the issues in our room on the third day, but our room continued to smell like sewage the entire time. Avoid room 8301 at all costs… it smells like sewage and it’s very gross even sleeping with the bathroom fan on at all times didn’t help. The lobby smells of intense mold smell and what they do is have so many scent machines in the lobby that pump a very strong off putting grandma style perfume. If you have even the slightest sensitivity to smell you cannot spend time in the lobby which is where the only bar/activities are in the evening. I’ve never complained about smell at a hotel before, and I had to press my face into a towel or shirt whenever we were in the lobby because that’s how nauseating this smell is. I would take the mold smell any day over the intense perfume they pump. On the beach the chairs are extremely old and sunken in… half almost touch the bottom of the sand before you even sit in them. They had umbrellas they can set up but only if the chair is at the very back of the beach otherwise it’s a nope! But if you have the higher vip bracelets they can put the umbrella anywhere for you. They have no big umbrellas just the ones that you stick in the sand, which meant whenever it got windy they had to remove all umbreallas so they don’t blow away. Lucky for us this was one of the coldest weeks they’ve had in Mexico with lots of wind every day, so no umbrellas could be used. The food was decent but extremely greasy. One of our family members got sick and we struggled to find plain food that wasn’t full of oil or salt. The potatoes were always swimming in a pool of oil and if you are over 30 it’s likely the food will give you heart burn. We went to the Mexican à la carte restaurant and there was barely any Mexican food. The favourite dish in the group was a curry, and there were no dishes you would expect like tacos, burrito, tortilla soup, guacamole etc. it was a big disappointment. We travelled with WestJet and it is all inclusive so our airport transportation is included. Our representative called our room on the first day and advised they’d be at the hotel desk from 8:30 am - 11 every day. We searched for him every single day with no luck to register for our airport shuttle. Nobody in the hotel knew anything and they all told us different things… some insisted we have to pay for a cab, some insisted you need to first make an appointment (but how? And the representative never said anything about this). We checked every single morning for two hours and nobody was ever there or knew anything they were all clueless and nobody had any contact phone number or anything. It has been a very frustrating experience and we leave tonight and still have no idea what time our shuttle is picking us up. We’ve tried many times to contact someone via email, hotel, the website chat bot nothing has worked the chat bot could t even find our reservation so we might have to resort to taking a cab to the airport even though our shuttle is supposed to be included. Overall an extremely frustrating experience that I don’t recommend.
