Home Away From Home
From the moment we step out of the vehicle at GR Solaris, we’re greeted with genuine smiles and warmth. It truly feels like visiting family you haven’t seen in a while — that sense of welcome never fades. We just returned from our fourth stay in three years, and the cleanliness impresses us every single time. The resort is well cared for, comfortable, and inviting. There’s a nice variety of meal options, and the location makes it easy to hop on a bus and head downtown whenever we want to explore. Yzrael and Reuben from the entertainment team keep things lively and fun, and they truly take the time to get to know you. Angel, one of the pool servers, is absolutely top-notch — he takes amazing care of us and never lets a glass sit empty. We also love spending time in the members bar with Hector and Eric. Hector, especially, is so genuine and always a joy to chat with. And the morning waiters in the buffet area are some of our favorites as well — especially Manuel, who always starts the day off right. There’s a reason we continue to come back to GR Solaris. It’s welcoming, well-kept, full of heart, and truly feels so much like our home away from home.

Excellent!!
Everyone was very kind and attentive!! Our second time here and we were not disappointed, will definitely come back again. Manuel, Darwin and Raul were charismatic, excellent servers. Two thumbs up!!

Terrible, everyone in our group got some stomach issues that caused vomiting and flu like symptoms. We talked to a dozen people who had same symptoms, could have been food poisoning? The room was supposed to be upgraded at check in, they said no despite it being part of booking on Expedia. We had a balcony view of next Hotel, terrible. The 300 room Hotel only had 100 guests. The girl at check in was useless at even wanting to accommodate what I described as an entitlement of booking via Expedia. They also plug in some toxic air deodorant system that is lobby. We had a good experience and room last year with Ocean view, that’s why we went back. We had friends who got upgraded to a suite with no extra charge when they complained. We were not rude, maybe we should have been, but our vow is never again to GR Solaris and would never recommend it.
