It was great, the only problem I had was they didn't put our family together. We requested conjoined rooms by phone, email, and by Cheap Caribbean and we didn't get our room choice. The service from the staff was great. Would I go back???? YES!

Cozy Hotel

The hotel was on the smaller side but big with service and personal. It was our anniversary and the dining and maid service made it more special. I seen the same for others and birthday celebrations. The dining and entertainment was on the similar side but still good. Great snorkeling right at the end of the property. Amazing! The beach was not more rock than sand but the beach sitting options were great, chairs, hammocks, bungalows, and over the water beds. Many of the rooms were two rooms one with bed, bathroom and shower and the other side was living room, kitchen table and bathroom with shower. This was the biggest room we ever had. Almost too big for only two people. I think the only downside to this was there were kid above us. We could not hear voice or noices except the little feet running back and forth sometime early in the morning. Talking with others the heard nothing from other rooms. We also had a pool in front of our room(s) but really unuseable due to the birds liked it so much more. Even though I saw it cleaned several times, the bird showed up right after and so was bird poop. The birds also liked the breakfast buffet as well, They were brave enogh to steel eggs right off your plate. But staff was right there to take care of any situation. The holel was with 1 fairly large pool with a swim up pool but it was just fine. It was what it needed to be. Lots of pool lounge chars around. I would stay here again definitely.

Great Resort

Great resort with fabulous snorkeling right in front of resort. There were so many fish especially near the pier! We even saw a Manta Ray! Clean, great staff and wonderful food. Ate at both restaurants (Italian & Mexican), Buffet, Grill and Taco shack and all was delicious. Entertainment one night was a terrific band playing 80's music - even had a small area for dancing very fun! Pool is nice with a swim up bar and a fun game of volleyball. Plenty of seating, never had a problem finding loungers! Rooms were nice size and as long as you were 4th floor or above (ground floor is actually floor 2), you had great views of the sunset. Nice sun beds were available that are out over the water with ladder access to the water. Super cool! Staff was friendly and accommodating! We went over spring break and did not feel crowded at all. Would definitely recommend.

They do such a good job.

The three best things about Fiesta Americana Cozumel are the service, the food, and the ocean view (from most of the rooms) of some of the clearest water you'll find anywhere. The service: the super-friendly staff can't do enough for you. Every few minutes someone seems to come by and ask if you want anything. If anything, they err on the side of being too quick to serve. The food: we are New York foodies, and we don't hesitate to call restaurants mediocre, if that's what they are. Fiesta's restaurants are all very, very good, especially the Peninsula (pan-Asian) a Vino del Mar (Italian). The beachside buffet for breakfast and lunch has more variety than you know what to do with, plus a beautiful setting; and the cevicheria for lunch has world-class fish tacos. I only wish there were more opportunities to eat dinner outside, under the stars, which I look forward to in the tropics. Most nights there is no way to do that. The only other small complaint is that the man-made beach is several feet above the water, and it is not easy to get in and out of the water. After you walk down some concrete steps, there are rocks, coral, etc. and no flat surface. I saw many people fall, or have to move extremely gingerly trying to get in and out. The Fiesta needs to improve this situation ASAP. Overall, Fiesta is a terrific value.
