Here, in gorgeous Mazatlan, in addition to not only channeling the ancients, you can also channel all your worries right into the dreamy teal ocean. Cool breezes, palm trees overhead and sunset on a private beach will also help sooth your soul that's long in need of rejuvenation. Or maybe you need a few minutes of soaking in the heated infinity pool, followed by a refreshing dip into the 22,000 sq. feet free-form pool, complete with a swim-up bar, cascading waterfalls and in-water lounges. There's a network of waterslides for to keep your kiddos happy and for you, an adults only section where you can chillax in the spa tub, sun deck and the Jacuzzi bar-and-massage area. And when it comes to drinks, which are unlimited, you can practice the sacred ritual of Tipping Your Bartender.
This is a beautiful resort with AMAZING customer service! The only thing we didn't like was the location of our room because it was over the laundry which smelled really good at first but after awhile got nauseating. I would truly advise paying a little extra to get the Elite bracelet. We had the top shelf liquor and many other benefits that others did not have. Also if you book I would pay the extra to get the nicer room. It was a nice quiet location and if you wanted to shop then you could take the free shuttle to one of their other resorts closer to town and walk the boardwalk or go into the golden zone for shopping. It is a VERY long walk to the flea market which we found out so unless you really want to walk then just take a taxi to get you there. They are not expensive and it will really save your feet.
I would like to high light these particular people for their incredible service and kindness. Maria--Elite Club--she would do anything for you and was amazing at tracking down our shuttle back to the airport. Guillermo --La Marina restaurant--An incredible and great evening server. You can't miss him, his happy go lucky attitude draws you to him. Hugo--Iguana Island-which is one of the pools and there are Iguana's all over, it is the coolest thing ever as they will walk right past you. Had to yell at a few kids to not taunt them, I mean, really parents??? but Hugo is a very humble and will take care of you all day long. Kind and another one you get drawn to. Even made sure to see us off when we left. Miguel and Roberto were great at the La Marina Breakfast. Funny and interesting.
The beds are VERY comfortable, I usually end up with a back ache in the beds but not this trip. The rooms are really clean and nice.
The only down fall with visiting Mazatlan is the LONG ride from the airport to your resort. But if you can take that is is a great place to go.
I have to say that Cheap Caribbean had every thing in order. I would really have liked to pick my seats on the plane or be able to print a boarding pass but other than that they had the shuttle in order to and from the airport, Everything went really smooth at the resort and we did feel perfectly safe.
I would book again with Cheap Caribbean, however I would tell you if you want nicer room placement, it would be worth paying the extra cost but if that is something that doesn't matter to you then just pay the regular cost you will still be in a nice resort regardless.
Also recommend getting their shuttle to and from the airport. It is a fair price and they are spot on getting you back and forth. Nice not to have to worry about that part of your trip! You are in plenty of time to deal with the airport stuff.

Does this Hotel have a walk on beach?2 answers
I know it states that there is a private beach but how big and how close is it to the resort? Thanks! :)

This is from our website:
A complimentary shuttle boat transports guests across the marina to a long, white-sand beach.
You would have to be shuttled to the beach.
There is a very short free water shuttle ride you take that gets you onto their beach where there is food and drink and a bathroom. The only thing that separates them is the canal that boats use to get in and out of the marina. It is very close. You can walk quite a ways one way as they other way is the entrance to the marina. Just an FYI there are NO rooms on the beach. You can get a beach view room but the room will not have an entrance to the beach. You will have to take the water shuttle for the beach access, there is no other way.

You will be able to go to the other resorts and drink only. Unless you are doing the booking for the dinners as there are different themes at the 4 different resorts and you will book that ahead of time. I would tell you to pay the little extra and get the elite band as it is well worth its weight in gold. Then you can go to the other resorts and eat and drink (top shelf) at any time of the day. There are just so many benefits to doing it. But if you just choose the standard, just know that you will be charged for any food you would have during the day.

What We'd Change
The price of a secluded beach is feeling cut off from the rest of the Golden Zone. When you need action, a complimentary shuttle gets you to it.
Why You Should Go
You're only 30 minutes to/from Mazatlan International Airport, so during the ride in, you can be thinking ahead about your first celebratory cocktail. (Mojito? Marg? Shot of tequila?)
It's scuba diver and snorkeler heaven - you can explore the off-shore reef that ranks as the second largest in the world.
There's a Spring Break policy: minimum age to check-in is 25. (You don't need any of those ruffians to ruin your chill).
Access to eight golf courses, just ask the concierge to arrange a tee time for you. (That's what they're there for, to wait on you).
In the air: helicopter/airplane rides. On the ground: you can rent a scooter/moped.
