    Disappointed

    The best part about this resort is the large shallow beach area. The hotel rooms are old and unimpressive. Food is average at best. You can find something to eat but for the most part I didn't enjoy it. Don't waste your money on "Preferred". You likely won't get what is promised and if you do it isn't worth it.

    Very relaxing

    The resort is beautiful. Everything is kept very clean. The entertainment staff were wonderful: Manuel made our trip extra special as this was our second time to this resort and he remembered us. Angie, Bryan, Medalia, Leilani, Magi G and Emir made all the daily activities really fun. The rooms were kept clean and the mini fridge was fully stocked. You could get bottled water from the bars. The bartenders inside and on the beach were fantastic. Even with the amount of people they usually remembered what you wanted. (Especially the beach, we frequented that one a lot) Everyone really friendly. We had a great time. The outdoor dinners and shows were all beautifully displayed and good food.

    In our dreams sands

    Dreams Sands was an 'in our dreams sands' stay, a dream come true. We loved it! The hotel was lovely. The staff were all friendly and great. The restaurants were good. The cafe was so much of a treat from morning to night that we even got to know the names of the nice people, as Jose, Yosse, and Mery were so helpful and kind. The beach / ocean was heaven on earth! We would love to go back someday.

    A slice of paradise

    We were very happy to enjoy the Preferred Club Honeymoon Suite w/ Plunge pool for our 1st anniversary. From our beautiful ocean view every morning for breakfast to cooling off in our private pool in the afternoon to star gazing from the Bali bed at night it was AMAZING! The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Double sinks, separate bath, rain shower and relaxing living space. The staff went above and beyond in every way. Daily maid service and nightly turn down was wonderful. Roberto, our welcome attendant, was always checking in to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The concierge desk was especially helpful when one of us came down very ill and possibly needed a hospital visit. The anxiety that came within those few hours was eased by their competent and helpful information as to the best hospital and how to get there. Having access to the preferred club lounge/buffet/bar was worth every penny. The preferred pool was about the same as all the others, would've like that one to be ADULTS only. The restaurant variety and food was delicious. Special kudos to the Mexican and Italian restaurants. Overall, before we even left we were making plans for our next visit!

    Beautiful beach and great staff

    Nice room. Very clean. Beach is GORGEOUS. The staff are super helpful and pleasant. Entertainment staff were fun and the shows were fun and entertaining. Nice chill music at the pool. Lots of beautiful settings. No problem getting a seat under Paulo’s at the beach. It’s the most beautiful stretch of beach I ever stayed at. It’s not too big so it’s easy to get around and not get lost. We were treated like royalty.
