Very disappointed. Let’s start with the good, staff in restaurants and bars were amazing and the choice of premium liquor is good. Now the bad, weeds and garbage on the beach, I realize that they can’t prevent it, but they could attempt to clean it. I saw on many occasions guests with garbage bags cleaning up the beach so their kids could play. Food is less than average and staff in preferred club and room services do not seem to care. Missed restocking items on several days and after 6 attempts to have wine brought to the room I gave up. I would not recommend this resort to anyone, value is not there. This is a lower end resort compared to others in the area. Not worthy of the once powerful “Dreams” name.

The room is comfortable with an Ocean view. The room service is excellent. The Italian and the French restaurants for preferred members is great. You can choose from multiple activities throughout the day. There are shows at nights, too. Coco cafe is where you stop by for daily caffeine needs with a friendly service. The guest service team are very friendly and ready to help. Oliver and the rest of the entertainment team are very good.

I booked a room with a plunge pool which was wonderful. The food was good, customer service was excellent, but there were issues with the beach. The sand is very nice, but the shoreline needs to be cleaned more often, lots of seaweed and garbage accumulated throughout the day.

Fantastic staff, food and entertainment
This is our second stay at the Dreams Riviera Cancun. The location is perfect, not too far from the airport. The resort has a great atmosphere, fun but also very relaxing. The adult infinity pool is awesome, in addition all of the pools were kept very clean. We had a king premier ocean view, very nice. Roca our room attendant did a great job cleaning, we were well taken care of. Breakfast at the World Cafe was very good, with lots and lots of choices. The wait staff was very attentive, and Gilberto did a fantastic job taking care of us. He always had a pot of coffee for me, kept our water full, cleared our plates and always had a moment to chat and make sure we were doing well. The restaurants were very good, we really liked the Seaside Grill and Oceana, our waiters Juan and Luis were phenomenal. They took excellent care of us; they went the extra mile for us to have very special meals. Each meal was a work of art, both pleasing to the eye and the taste buds. The staff at the pool, so awesome! Victor and Alex took such good care of us and made us feel like family. We never went without, and they would also take time to chat and make us feel at home. The entertainment was very good also, there was always some kind of activity going on during the day, I brought home a couple of bracelets. The evening entertainment, top notch. The dancing, acrobatic show, magic show, fire show, etc. all were very good, and we looked forward to the show every night. We also liked that they had a singer every night in the Rendezvous Bar area, it was very relaxing and enjoyable watching everyone get into the music. Finally, I just wanted to call out the staff at this resort, we truly feel they go the extra mile to make sure that the guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. From the ground crews to the room attendants, the serving staff, etc. Top notch. Thank-you to all of you for making our stay special.
