Feb 02, 2026Loved this resort, some very special people working there
My husband and I were at Dreams Los Cabos in November 2025. The property is beautiful. We ate breakfast at the World Cafe every day we were there. The food was great, loved the Mexican breakfast choices including chilaquiles and made-to-order quesadillas as well as other delicious items. The servers working the dining room were very friendly and attentive and we got to know several of them, including Eloy, Zegey, Alexa, Carmen, Martin, Jesus, Amilcar, Rieto, Jaime, Jonathan, Collins and Maribel. On our last day, we were treated to a breakfast dessert - cassada cake with “Safe Travels” written on the plate in chocolate - such a special and delicious way to end our stay! Thank you so much to the crew, we will always remember you fondly ❤️

Feb 01, 2026Young Family w/ 1 year old - excellent week vacation at a beautiful resort
I traveled to Dreams Los Cabos in January 2026 with my wife and 1 year old (we are 34yrs old). Overall we had an excellent time and I would recommend anyone with a family (or not) to visit the Dreams resort in Los Cabos. The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. Everything is super clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a family jr suite which was great for our 1 year old so that he could nap in his own room and we still had a living room and balcony to hang out. The room was in good shape with nothing wrong with it. The bed isnt the comfiest, but it was good enough, however the pillows sucked LOL. Some things like a stained couch/rug but that did not bother us (nor should it bother you - what do you expect from a hotel that serves guests 365 days a year - also, get out of your room and enjoy the weather!) This was my second time to Cabo and I find the food to be much better than other places in Mexico. This was no different at Dreams. Food was good and very appropriate portions. The problem we had, in our situation, the French restaurant did not accept children under 8, and the seafood restaurant did not entice us at all, so take away 2 of the 4 restaurants for dinner options and we are left with rotating nights at the Italian restaurant and the steakhouse.. slightly disappointed there as the menus for both do not change from night to night - after 7 days, we were sick of them. The breakfast buffet was great and the Seaside grill breakfast was also really good. All options for lunches were good, except the buffet - lack of options. We also had room service (decent, but nothing spectacular) for night 1 as the wait at the dinner restaurants was about 40-60 minutes each night - again, not an issue if you plan for it - which we did the rest of the week (thats your warning). The biggest disappointment was the Monday night Mexican Night Dinner Buffet on the beach... all i have to say is that dont go into it expecting tacos, burritos, empanadas etc.. The bars were great and drinks were delicious with MOST bartenders knowing everything they needed for any drink you may require. Pool atmosphere was great - both at the all inclusive pool and the children's pool. Even though some people were up early to reserve chairs around the pool, we never had an issue finding chairs at any point of the day. The beach is also great and we spent some time walking up and down the ocean line. Couple of beach vendors, but there is no hassling you at all. All in all, we really did enjoy our week long trip and we would recommend anyone to Dreams, however I do no think we would go back strictly due to the limited food options (we also did not leave the resort due to traveling with 1 year old and car seat, so breaking up some meals from the resort with local food would certainly be a play). I love Cabo and if you have not been yet, you will to. Both times I have felt as safe as I do here in Canada with very friendly staff and guests to help you should you need. You also cant beat the weather - even in January (the worst Cabo weather of the year) it was 25c the entire week.

Feb 01, 2026Highly underwhelming - not the quality Hyatt should be representing
We had a poor experience from the minute we arrived. No welcome drink, no refreshing towel. Just shown to the preferred club and told to wait and get our own drink. Our reservation was incorrect and it was a huge pain to get it changed. The room was not good. Beds and pillows are terrible. There was paining and construction that started early (7am) a few mornings. Sooo loud. We were above the fire pit and could hear people partying until late. Our room had only one sink and and a tub that was difficult to get in and out of. It leaked water everywhere and there was black mold. We asked to be moved and Oziel in the preferred club did not even attempt to accommodate. Said we could pay more if we wanted to move. I’m sorry but a preferred club ocean view suite should be a nice room with a walk in shower and no black mold! There are no towels ever set out at the preferred club beach area. We loved Mercedes (bartender/server) at preferred beach and Emanuel and Christian with the entertainment staff were fantastic. This resort seems to be lacking good management, and customer service in all other areas besides the preferred beach and entertainment. I used to book Dreams resorts for weddings and clients but after this subpar experience I will not be.

We’ve been here before and we will be back!
Very nice stay. When asked during our stay, what could we improve?, nothing came to mind. Italian and French restaurants were divine. Servers were wonderful .

Jan 30, 2026Great place, but don’t expect to be wowed by the food
We arrived exhausted and ready for some sun and relaxation. We were greeted to pushy up sales on our room for club level and vacation club sales. Our dinner was lackluster, like most other meals, but it worked. We made friends with the bartenders, so drinks were well made and great service was provided
