Don’t waste your money

The beach is amazing, the rooms are pretty good too. But myself and my friends have gotten stomach sick every day except for one. The food is not good at all, and the service is very inconsistent. The people are very nice and are very friendly. If you don’t care food and want beach time this is a good spot, definitely not for the price though.

Average resort

I used Deal of Furtune for this trip just because i think its fun to not know your resort til the last minute. Although you are guareenteed a 4.5 star or higher, this resort was more like a 3.5. The best part was the room. I traveled alone and had a nice big room with vaulted ceilings all to myself. Thank goodness, because i spent more time there than on my usual travels. The room was cleaned daily and always had fresh towels and beer and water in the mni fridge. The hotel was very crowded and most nights the bars had little stock at the bar (except the nights Carlos and Mary worked, they went above and beyond). It was sad to see bartenders denying others their simple drink requests. They always said, we are out for now. Also food was not very good. I had two nights of good meals and that was about it for my 7 day stay. The beach was so small and crowded it made it difficult to relax. White soft sand, yes, but with people laying on top of each other, made it a beach resort i would never return to. Good thing there are so many others to choose from for my next trip. I dont recommend this resort however, I do recommend LaRomana.
