  Vacation stay

  Worst hotel I have stayed in. First they gave me the wrong room, then in the other room the bathroom was not working. Front desk was no help ever. Will not recommend at all.

  Great hotel, dont believe the negativity

  DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I stopped reading reviews as i felt we had booked a bad hotel, but we got there and was great. This hotel is only 20 mins from the airport, located on the beach with private access to the hotel. You are given a wristband instead of door card which is great saves you having to keep finding your card. The room was wonderful, we were in block 2 which were updated rooms. We inadvertently booked a jacuzzi room. We asked for high floor. On arrival we got our purple wristband which gave us access to the VIP 8th floor bar, which was great giving u a quieter location at night. The housekeeping struggled to clean our room everyday which was fine we coped. The minibar was restocked daily. There is an adult only bar where the night club is - this was great towards the end of our stay as the number of kids increased significantly which you expect as it was xmas week. Any kids who came into the bar were told they wernt allowed and they left. The adult only pool area was great, nice day beds with its own bar area, nice and peaceful away from the main pool - loved this area. The bars were all fabulous - the had que system and they wudnt let anyone push in - whether you tipped them or not u waited your turn. There is a library next to the theatre and reception, its called the convectivity room. Not many books in there but the collection was building up. Al a Carte restaurants are so easy to book. We used the QR code at 8am everyday and never missed out. French restaurant was our favourite. Men need to wear long trousers and closed shoes or they simply wont let you in. Its adult only and they are strict about both. Women can wear wotever they like. But the food was amazing, worth a pair of long trousers Italian restaurant we didnt enjoy. Salad bar wasnt as good as the buffet, lasagne was not good, steak was ok tho but we only went once. Fish restaurant was ok but nothing to shout about. Steak restaurant was great, great steaks and the burgers were yummy. Have to say all the desserts in the restaurants were just gelatine based. not one was nice and we tried them all. Our overall opinion..... We loved the hotel for location, food was great, staff were fabulous. Was it worth it?? yeah we enjoyed our stay

  Everything was fantastic.. bell boys, cleaners, the hotel staff were excepcional! Spent 11 days treated very very very well!

  Won’t Be Back After 5 Straight Years

  The discounted cost in comparison to other nearby resorts no longer justifies the continually declining amenities. In the room, the bathroom door didn’t close and phone didn’t work for room service ordering. The room would vibrate from 10pm until 1am from the nightclub. The elevators never worked properly and my daughter was actually stuck inside one for a few minutes when it would not open. The main reason we have always come here is for the entertainment for the kids. There always used to be 2 or 3 team members by the pool running the different activities, now there is just one. Rock climbing/zip-lines also used to have 3 team members, and now they also only have one, making the process incredibly slow. The lifeguard at the top of the waterslides is also responsible for hooking the kids up for zip-lines - how is that safe? The goals for water-polo have pieces of netting just hanging from them, so every-time a goal is scored, someone has to chase the ball. The volleyball string (you actually can’t call it a net), is laughable. There are also fewer daily activities scheduled at the pool. The bingo game is missing the #9, so ask for a different card if you get one with that number. The miniature golf course is a giant trip hazard because the playing surface is in such rough shape and the equipment in the games room is barely hanging on. The covered pool was out of service the entire week. The bar areas were also staffed by fewer people now, so those long drink waits are even longer. None of the blended drinks are made with any fresh fruit. The staff members in the restaurants all continue to be very friendly and helpful. However, the quality of food, which has never been a strength, continues to disappoint. We waited until we got here to see if we would be booking here again for 2026 - we have booked a different resort instead after staying here our previous 5 visits to Cancun.

  Wonderful breakfast time

  Dana Maria and Jerry were exceptional. Nice time at breakfast at the second building. Everyone was very thoughtful. Nice view
