A resort that integrates Barbadian history into the architecture
Beautiful resort that kept Barbadian history into its architecture. The view onto the beach by the pool is amazing! Happy hour is a relaxing, fun way to meet new people! We had a Junior Suite that came with a pool! 2nd time to the Crane and we will come back.

Great historic Crane Hotel (the Marina Villa & Historic Pool and Garden)
The most interesting and beautiful part of the resort imho is the historic Crane Hotel in the Marina Villa (of 1887), sat in the historic garden overlooking the ocean, and flanked by the historic pool, overlooking stunning Crane beach. I was fortunate to stay in a “hospitality room” in the atmospheric historic hotel for half a day whilst waiting for my evening flight to Amsterdam. Great to get a chance to see this. One lucky couple appeared to be actually staying in the room next door. Also nice is the restaurant in the historic Carriage House. The expansive newer parts feel a bit like an artificial village. My garden view room there was highly comfortable including a garden terrace and small pantry, and good value with a Black Friday 40 pct off deal. Only remarks are that the aircon was very loud, and the poster bed very tall to get into due to a very thick mattress in an already high bed (unfortunately no ladder is provided). Overall a delightful stay.

Beautiful Barbados
My wife and I spent the last two days of our one week holiday in Barbados at the Crane Resort. We had transferred over to that hotel from another resort because we had heard great things about it and wanted to check out the property. When we arrived at The Crane, we were greeted very warmly by the staff and check-in was rather seamless. When we were taken to our room, we were very impressed with the size and layout of the room, and the fact that it was very fresh and new. Unfortunately, we had some minor issues that we felt needed to be taken care of, When we explained these to the front desk, our concerns were immediately handled very professionally and warmly by Tennyson and Deangelo. Joan at the taxi concierge desk was also extremely helpful. The resort has a lot to offer. it is beautiful, well laid out and well maintained. Of prime importance to us was the quality and variety of the restaurants. certainly a resort that caught our eye and we plan on returning to at some point in time.
