So much to do in such a beautiful location. We needed to do our homework to be prepared before arrival to be able to experience everything that we wanted to…and that’s why we need to return. This was the beginning of a trend for this couple.

Apr 24, 2025A Dream 10-Night Stay
From the moment we touched down at the airport, we knew we were in for something special. The greeting at the Couples arrival lounge, the seamless transportation to the resort, the warm welcome at check-in, and every moment after was perfect. Our Ocean Verandah room was stunning (and freshly remodeled) with a nice view that greeted us every morning. The beach? Absolute paradise with crystal-clear waters and soft white sand. Every day brought new activities – from beach volleyball, pickleball, tennis, wood carving, snorkeling, etc. to simply relaxing with a cocktail in hand. The food was consistently delicious, with something to satisfy every craving, and the drinks from the martini bar were so much fun to try (with 25 to choose from!) – shoutout to the talented bartenders who kept us refreshed and smiling! A massive thank you to the dive team – you all were phenomenal! If it weren’t for your patience and encouragement, I wouldn't have even attempted to complete a dive certification. Your confidence in me helped me gain confidence in myself. Special thanks to **Anthony and Shaggy** – you guys are rockstars! **King Julian and Omario** on the snorkel squad were very entertaining and definitely made sure everyone had a great experience, from getting everyone's attention when a sea turtle was spotted to giving us food to feed the hungry fish. **Cheers to Shania**, one of the entertainment coordinators – your energy was absolutely contagious! And **Tracey**, our lovely maid, kept our room spotless and inviting – thank you for your attention to detail and hard work. We also want to recognize **Anthony the gardener**, who greeted us with a smile and song. Every staff member made us feel so welcome. To the entire Couples Swept Away crew – **thank you for an incredibly relaxing holiday.** We can’t wait to return!

Amazing vacation and wedding
Our stay at Couples Swept Away Negril Jamaica was awesome! We had a small intimate beach wedding that was made so special by the wedding team at the resort. From helping with needed paperwork before our trip and all the details for the ceremony before and on our special day. It was perfect. I would definitely recommend this resort for any special occasions or vacation.

Brilliant service at this friendly resort
While perhaps parts of the resort feel a little tired, the staff were unfailingly polite and enthusiastic. They always did everything with a smile. I particularly commend Anthony and the team at the dive centre who did everything to make our 21 dives during our 2 week vacation the best possible for us. Absolutely loved the place and the people.

Oh dear how this hotel gets a 5* rating is beyond me Please read my other review on other hotels in Jamaica Firstly the hotel is extra dingy poor lighting and very tired decor it really does need a deep clean and modernising throughout The main pool is filthy surroundings are really tired Lots of the staff seem unhappy I’ve not experienced this before anywhere in Jamaica We stayed at Sandals which is much better clean We also stayed at Azul Beach Negril which is on the next level service and quality wise So Beaches Swept Away you really need to get your act together do a deep clean smarten up the dingy lobby and restaurant areas Now for the good bits Some staff were fantastic Coffee Shop excellent Beach bars excellent especially Akeem always has a smile on his face The staff at Feathers Restaurant very good Buffet restaurant bar Daniel was probably the best member of staff we encountered always polite and happy The catamaran trip was great Rasta John is a credit to the company great guy Water spots team pretty good the glass bottom boat trip was great Hobbie Cat again great But even with the good points we would definitely not stay here again
