  Great spot for both couples and families! Not an easy feat.

  Overall, I agree with many of the positive reviews provided on Trip Advisor. We recently spent 7 days at Coconut Bay, including Christmas. The resort made a great effort to make the grounds festive, with plenty of activities for young families and a turkey/ham/lamb dinner at the main buffet. The resort was at capacity and yet the pools, bars and restaurants were never busy or overwhelming. We were always able to get a table for dinner or a lounger by the pool! We spent most of our time on the Harmony side (Adults only), peacefully relaxing oceanside, with a Tiki bar and pool, only steps away. The best of both worlds. The beach is great for long walks and while Sargassum was a bit of an issue, we were shocked that the resort raked the beach all day, everyday, to keep the issue to a minimum. That is all we could ask for! We are typically not big "buffet eaters", but we did enjoy the Country Night and Caribbean nights, poolside for dinner. We recommend both! The staff were extremely polite and fun to chat with, namely Daneza (Tyla) at the Harmony bar and Evelyn, at breakfast, at Veranda. The rooms were extremely clean and the layout of the resort was well thought out. Jerk at the Treehouse is a must and an umbrella drink at Paradise Beach Bar is so cool. Even though my family is older, we loved the Lazy River and if we had young kids, we would certainly recommend the resort for those families. Our only advice to the resort was regarding Check-in. Why not show guests to their rooms and provide some insights about the resort, along the way? We were pointed in a direction and left to our own accord to navigate to our room. This is such a great opportunity to make a great first impression with your guests. Other than that, this is great value and fun for all couples or families.

  FANTASTIC FOR FAMILIES!!

  I am writing this on the last day of our family holiday which covered Christmas 2025 and the New Year. What a fantastic place! I don’t normally do reviews, but felt an urge to write one for Coconut Bay. The hotel is situated just a few minutes from the country’s southern airport, Whilst you sometimes see a plane take off, there is little to no noise issue. We have a 7 year old son, so all inclusive hotels have become the norm for us. This is our second visit to Coconut Bay (the first was Xmas 2023). To be completely honest, the room we had on the first trip was a little tired, but that wasn’t enough to stop us rebooking. Before I detail the hotel, the rooms have now been refurbished and are modern, air conditioned, very clean and very comfortable. The cleaning team are as good as we have had anywhere in the world. We had personal notes every day (thank you Colette!) We had a garden room - sliding doors onto the lawn leading to a a large fun family pool with swim up bar. A big shout out to CJ and Kimani who, with the help of others, headed pool foam parties (which the kids and adults loved!), and all sorts of daily activities which kept us all entertained. There is also very impressive kids club with wonderful staff that remembered us from our first visit! The food at the hotel is fantastic. A buffet (that varies everyday) is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a hamburger / pizza bar open most of the day and night. There is also a lovely bar with burger stand / kiosk just a short walk down the beach which is perfect for a chilled out lunch. The Jerk Chicken tree house kiosk offers fabulous Caribbean food beside the main pool. There are two large pools - both family friendly, plus a smaller pool within the Lazy River area. We all loved the Lazy River and the large water slides that are situated beside it. The main reason I was drawn to do a review is the amazing staff. I’ve already mentioned CJ and Kimaini. The staff at the pool are so friendly- taking the time to talk to guests - young and old. Sharde was first class… always happy and very attentive and professional. Sandy behind the pool bar remembers guests favourite drinks and is also very engaging. The New Year celebration, food, entertainment and fireworks were nothing short of spectacular. Of all the all inclusive hotels that we have visited around the world, Coconut Bay is probably the one that ticks the most boxes for us in terms of our son’s entertainment, our relaxation, food, and very friendly staff - all of which contributed to-both our holidays here being brilliant. I can’t rate this place highly enough - we will be back again!! Thanks Coconut Bay

  A wonderful experience!

  If I could have given this place more than 5 I would have. We have been to a few other all inclusive resorts in our travels and this one was by far the best overall experience. We stayed on the Harmony Adults only side and the rooms are newly updated. The property includes both a nice family friendly side and a side that has two pools and a hot tub that are adult only. The whole property is huge and includes more than we utilized. We were here from December 28-January 2 so we were fortunate to experience an amazing New Year’s Eve Event. All of the food we had was great with lots of options. There was great entertainment. The staff were all very nice and helpful at every step. I seriously could go on and on. We are already talking with friends about us coming back next year and them possibly joining us.

  Great Family Trip!

  Great for families with little ones! We just finished up a 5 night stay with our 2.5 year old and 10 month old. Everyone had a blast! It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but the pool and the water slides kept our babies entertained and I appreciated the low-key but fun entertainment. Wonderful NYE party / buffet!

  Awesome Resort

  I celebrated my 50th birthday at Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa earlier this month. It was an awesome vacation and celebration! This was my second time staying at the resort and it was just as great as the first time. I love everything about this resort from the close proximity to the airport to the clean grounds to the great food options (Jerk Treehouse is the best!) to the kind and fun staff. The staff member who cleaned my room daily left an encouraging note a few times during my stay. It was so nice to read them, and they added another level of happiness to my stay. I am glad I was able to celebrate here, and I will definitely be back!
