  Amazing trip!

  My husband and I came to Cancun for the first time to escape the winter snow. We knew if anything else, we would be happy to escape the cold and be in the sun but we were blown away with our experience. At the pool, everyday we had Edwin, ensuring we had everything we needed from towels, to drinks, to food. Some days we didn’t leave the pool because Edwin had us covered the entire day. Phenomenal service! Edwin was genuinely happy to serve us and see us everyday! In the pool and around we had Erik and Angel for our entertainment. They made sure the party never stopped, they hyped everyone up with games and fitness and brought the party to us whether we were in the pool or lounging. Honestly these three guys made our experience the best one yet and we are from Canada so we know friendly, they were above and beyond!

  Juan Carlo’s made our trip

  My husband and myself booked Breathless Riviera for one week. We actually didn’t choose this resort, instead booked it based on surprising our friends there. In general this resort was wonderful all around. We found it had the best balance of entertainment and quiet areas. We stayed in the Allure Ocean View Room fourth floor. I would book this room again as it oversaw the ocean, and all the entertainment/dinner dinning areas in the main square. Things I liked at this resort were: 1. You did not have to make dinning reservation’s 2. They have 24 hour room service as well as the Coffee Shop is open 24 hours 3. They always have games or some sort of entertainment going on 4. Our waiter Juan Carlos was the best!! He was always happy, was prompt with service, remembered our orders and basically catered to us all vacation ! (He deserves a raise lol) 5. The French restaurant and Steak house were the best for us. 6. There are also no towel cards yay Now for Cons 1. The bathrooms in general and especially the beach bathrooms were always a certain level of dirty :( They smelled like swamp, the floors were wet all the time never mopped or dried, toilets were dirty and one afternoon the light was out, there was no toilet paper and a slippery wet floor. Personally I’ve been to other resorts where they are on top of it continuously all day, who wants to step in 1/2 of “water “ on a bathroom floor. 2. Although it’s 24 room service the menu was ok, we would have preferred at least a better soup, chicken wings, or two salads and sandwiches to choose from. But I’m assuming due to the capacity it’s not cost effective for them. Also fyi room service takes around 40-45min. 3. We thought the Italian restaurant was not good, it was a lot of canned sauce not good if you know what authentic Italian tastes like. 4. Around the Xclerate pool they offer beautiful sun beds for a premium price. In my opinion if you’ve already payed for all inclusive why would I pay$300 or more we day for a bed with bottle service when they already have servers. They should be limited or at least not take up half a pool deck. This resort can’t pull that off and make money as they were empty almost always except one. 5. They dont use bracelets on the resort to treat everyone equal however some people like the extra service and now you have to carry around a room key card somewhere because it’s not on your wrist. I would give it a four four and half star rating !

  Highly Recommend

  Perfect way to celebrate my 60th birthday with 10 of my family members. The staff was very attentive, the grounds were spotless, the rooms were beautiful and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this resort!

  A Great Resort

  A great resort with a good variety of food choices and great entertainment. The pool areas are clean and spacious with many pool activities. The sporta bar was amazing with great drinks and staff personnel. The rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable.

  Breathless is a great party place

  Juan Carlo was key to our wonderful vacation. He was our server on the beach and the X pool. He was professional and friendly to all the people we were with. Quick with drinks. Even brought them in to the edge of the pool. He was the VIP person. Very funny and polite to our wives. The rooms were excellent and the party in the pool was amazing. 1-3 party in pool and 9-1 party in the night club. Packed. Fun.. One thing they have to work on is the food. Needs one notch up. It was ok. But food needs to be better. Asian and steakhourse were great. Italian was terrible.
