Oct 14, 2025Review of the resort being pet friendly
Dear Breathless Riviera Cancun Team, I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at your resort with my family and our pet dog, and while we appreciated the hospitality and beautiful property, I wanted to share some feedback regarding the pet-friendly experience. We were charged a $260 USD pet fee, which we were happy to pay; however, we noticed there were no pet amenities provided during our stay. Additionally, pets were only allowed in the Xhale Club area, which was quite far from the designated pet area, making it inconvenient. There was also no provision for pet food, which was challenging since Mexico’s travel regulations only allow travelers to carry one day’s supply of pet food. When we requested basic items like curd or boiled eggs, we had to repeatedly request and explain the situation before receiving assistance. Access to restaurants was also very limited, as only two allowed us to dine with our pet. We were grateful to the staff at Spoon who kindly accommodated us during the day and allowed our pet in the stroller inside that was very much appreciated. Please note that our pet was always inside the stroller and well-behaved at all times. While the stay was overall good, the limited facilities and restrictions made it difficult to have a comfortable “pet-friendly” experience. We could barely enjoy the restaurants or common areas, as most denied access without offering outdoor alternatives. I would kindly recommend that if the resort promotes itself as pet-friendly, it would be great to make some areas more accessible for guests traveling with pets and to include basic amenities (such as food, or designated pet dining areas). Fine, not recommended, won't be back
I would start by saying that the staff is great, everyone was very attentive and willing ot help. The negative side is that the hotel needs remodel, looks old. The food at the restaurants not the best, and they need more staff over at the bars overrall. Also the entertainment it's not what I expected, they need more activities and a mix of songs with the DJ as they were playing the same music every day.

We had the most wondeful experience at Breathless, the food, the music,the shows and over all experience was excellent, the staff are all amazing, they are always there to assist and check if you need anything! shout out to the pool guys VINCENTE, VICTOR, EDWIN,ROGER and MARIA, we will definitely go back!!

Service-5 out of 5 Resort-4 out of 5 Food-3 out of 5 Asian Restaurant and Italian saved it for our group. Steak House and Mexican were average to bad. Had a few good items but overall, a miss. Buffet was solid. We didn't do French. The service and staff couldn't have been better. Any small issues were addressed right away. Pools are great. Very well maintained and well-spaced. Did the Breathless in Punta and they don't compare. Do this one! It's well worth it!!
