  Great for a low-maintenace party but warning for allergies!

  I had my bachelorette here and stayed in an Xhale club ocean front suite. It was exactly what we needed it to be for a group of late 30's women. Fun pool days, comfy beds, time together. A few things were not great... I told my concierge America that I didn't want the room cleaned because I was worried that the decorations my friends set up would be removed. She told me she would tell them not to remove them, so I allowed housekeeping in that day. When I returned back all the decorations were gone- it was really sad. The remaining 2 nights of the trip were spent in an empty room after my friends put in so much effort. America never answered my text about it and then stopped sending me further communications like the morning activities list. For group of 11 it is impossible to get seated at dinner. America initially recommended we show up right when restaurants open, and told me she couldn't make a reservation for us. After a difficult first night when we had to wait until 10pm to eat dinner and be seated, I asked her again for help and she put in a hold for our group at a restaurant at 6pm. For our final night as a big group we did the paid hibachi experience which was the only way to get a reservation. The hibachi experience was slightly disappointing because the chefs had everyone's order selections wrong and we didn't get the right proteins distributed, but we had fun and weren't really there for the food. I knew going into this trip from reading other's reviews to REALLY watch and be vigilant with my gluten allergy (celiac). If you have an allergy this info is for you... Double check everything you are given and speak to the chefs before ordering at every restaurant and you will be good. I didn't get sick the whole time. Don't trust that your allergies will be communicated between staff- double check everything put infront of you because the servers were not in-sync for me. Also double check your room service orders- I had a flagged allergy on my room and called and ordered over the phone to be extra careful. I confirmed in english and in spanish the modification that would be made (in this case, made with corn not flour tortillas) but my food arrived with flour tortillas. When I asked the person delivering, they immediately said it was not a corn tortilla and showed me that there was no indication on the receipt of the discussed changes or allergy. They were kind and offered to remake it but at that point it was really late in the night and we had already waited 45 mins for the food. Also for allergies- Bring your own snacks! I couldn't eat the pringles due to my allergy, but luckily brought my own munchies. Even in Exhale club the rooms only have beer in the fridge as an alcoholic option. They would not bring me liquor bottles to the room or wine bottles, despite to the fact that I couldn't drink beer. On a positive note, we loved the night club. It was small but a lot of people went so it felt lively. Rivera gave us a great deal on a bottle at a table so we could have our own space, and he decorated it with flower petals and a custom display message! Shout out to Edwin at the pool- he was amazing. He kept our group's drinks flowing all day, and even found a way to get me a gluten free version of the quesadilla. So kind and attentive. We actually found the french restaurant to be anti-climatic unlike most of the reviews indicate, but we loved the mexican food and Silk Road.

  Great time!

  Had a wonderful experience here!! All of the staff are super attentive and kind. Edwin was awesome as well, he served us at the pool many times. The room was full of drinks, and cleaned everyday!

  Amazing resort!

  Hotel Grounds & Pools We really enjoyed the hotel grounds—they were extremely clean and well maintained. This is a smaller resort, so it isn’t as grand as some of the surrounding resorts, but it offers a great balance between luxury and a lively party atmosphere without ever feeling overwhelming. The pools were amazing. There are two main pools: the Energy Pool and the Xcelerate Pool. We spent most of our time at the Energy Pool, where most of the games and themed pool parties took place. Both pools were very clean and featured swim-up bars, in-water loungers, and plenty of seating around the shallower areas. Coffee Shop The hotel coffee shop was a highlight of our stay and something we genuinely looked forward to every morning. The selection was extensive, ranging from tea to hot and iced lattes, along with yogurts and breakfast pastries. Anahi was incredibly kind and helpful—she truly went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied, even finding a yogurt for us in a nearby building. Her service was exceptional. Room We loved our room, located on the fourth floor of Building Three, directly across from the Energy Pool. It did get a bit noisy in the mornings due to foot traffic and in the evenings because of nearby activity, but using white noise completely solved the issue. The room itself was modern, spacious, and very clean. The minibar was restocked daily with pop, bottled water, M&M’s, and chips, which was a great touch. The double rainfall shower was a nice feature, and the balcony was a good size with enough privacy from surrounding rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, and guests staying in the Xhale Club have the option to request a preferred pillow. The room was also well equipped with a hairdryer, shampoo, soap, and personal hygiene items such as combs and toothbrushes. Xhale Club We opted for the Xhale Club package, which included access to a members-only pool area, premium alcohol, and expedited check-in and check-out through a private lounge. We also got a 50 minute hydrotherapy session included. I believe the xhale upgrade is worth it. Hotel Staff & Entertainment The staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with any questions or requests. Roger by the pool deserves special recognition—he was incredibly attentive, whether it was helping with drinks, food, or finding us a spot by the pool. He consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you, Roger! The entertainment team, especially Mancel and Pedro, were fantastic. They hosted most of the pool events, contests, and nightlife activities and truly knew how to keep guests entertained. The shows at the Showstopper Theatre were also very enjoyable. Our favourites were the light show and the mariachi show. There was always something happening at the resort, including pre-nightclub events like karaoke and the fire show, which added to the fun atmosphere. Beach We were disappointed with the beach, although we were aware of this before arriving. The water was quite dark, and very few people swam in it. While the beach did have comfortable loungers and palapas, we ended up spending most of our time by the pools. Food & Drinks Food can be unpredictable at all-inclusive resorts, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and genuinely enjoyed our meals. Our favourite restaurant was Picante, the Mexican restaurant. The burritos, tacos, and especially the birria tacos were excellent 🌮. The French restaurant was also very good—we ordered the French onion soup and the braised short rib, both of which were delicious. Teppanyaki was another highlight, with options including shrimp, beef, chicken, or vegetables. We only visited the buffet for breakfast, but the quality was great, especially the omelette station. We did not try the Italian restaurant and were not fans of the Thai restaurant. The resort provided bottled water throughout the property, along with brand-name sodas. Drink quality was consistently good across the resort. Overall Experience We really enjoyed our stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun and would definitely recommend this resort to others looking for a fun, clean, and well-balanced all-inclusive experience.

  Beach is not good for swimming.

  The beach is not good because has a mangle beside and the water return and create the water at the beach very dark nobody used. If you are in the pool rooms always is cold and you dont have any view at the same time you can received animal guest to the porch.

  Great vacation

  Great experience , relaxing and the restaurants were great! Pools were nice and the staff were friendly! The only thing I didn’t like is the unavailability to swim in the sea, otherwise we spend a good amount of time in the beach!
