Jan 28, 2026Fabulous Hotel with amazing staff.
First visit to Cuba & Memories Jibacoa. We arrived on the 31st December & the atmosphere was electric! The welcome by staff & other guests was fantastic. All the comments we had researched previously did not do this fun hotel justice. The food, the beautiful gardens, the beautiful beach & reef, the teams of staff all given 💯 %. It took us 32 hours to get there but it was worth it. We had a fabulous holiday & can’t wait to return.

BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE & BEAUTIFUL PLACES!
My snorkeling dreams come true! Fantastic experience! Friendly staff - especially Maykel! The best mixologist at the cutest sport's bar ever! Super activities all around the resort. Relaxing, live music, 3 great a la cartes. Excursions with Brayled Perez in a 55 station wagon was amazing and sooooo cheap compared to big bus tours. Met Jennifer from Go Mission - Together for Cuba and donated our humanitarian suitcases.No shortages of anything. Felt safe everywhere we went. Beautiful people and beautiful places!

Just Book it!! But be Prepared for Memories Jibacoa to Forever Stay In Your Heart!
Are you skeptical? Don’t be!!!! As a very picky traveler, I can say with confidence that this place is one of a kind. Attention to every detail, staff, food, the grounds, cleanliness are top priority at MJ. It’s an older resort and doesn’t offer glitz and glamour that is the focus of most adult resorts, and that adds to the charm. It’s in a beautiful quiet area of Cuba, The resort is small, but set on a wonderful and safe beach. My husband lives that he can grab his snorkel and walk out to the reef. Me, I just lounge under the wonderful mangroves. We took a leap of faith 3 years ago and have been back 3 times.

Jan 25, 2026All inclusive stay by the beach.
All inclusive stay by the beach. Rooms are great, clean with lots of space and a lovely terrace to sit out on. The food is plentiful (help yourself buffet three times a day) but, to be honest, not great quality (though the a la carte GOURMET option was much better.) Lots of organised stuff to do (we joined in with salsa dance, cocktail making and - wait for it - Bingo!) organised by the on-site staff. Expect lots of friendly Canadians there for winter sun.
