Family owned and operated since 1974 by the Doumengs, the resort's small, friendly atmosphere offers a vacation that seems like home. We're not the only ones who think the Doumengs are doing it right.

Richard Doumeng, Managing Director, was recently awarded the "Golden Conch" Caribbean Hotelier of the Year Award by the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association. Get lost in the all-inclusive paradise at Bolongo Bay. Located on a 1,000-ft stretch of white sand, Bolongo Bay Beach Resort redefines the word "beachfront." Kick back on a lounge chair and watch the kids swim, or check out the freshwater pool for rum punch at the swim-up bar. After you've worked up an appetite, two open-air restaurants draw you in: lobster specialties are a hit at The Oasis, and we hear conch fritters at Iggies Beach Bar and Grill are delish. Wednesday nights, Iggies hosts the wild Carnival Extravaganza, with steel-pan tunes and a limbo show, or you catch a cab to Charlotte Amalie for more action.

Whether you're hanging out at the beach or seeing the sights, there are tons of things to do during the day. Start a game of beach volleyball, or challenge the kids to paddleboat races. Try parasailing, or book a snorkel or scuba excursion to see the underwater world. Day trips to nearby St. John, St. Croix and the British Virgin Islands are popular, but St. Thomas also has great appeal. Paradise Point has unforgettable views. The shoreline is beautiful from Magens Bay. And kids love feeding stingrays at Coral World.

Book an appointment with the massage therapist after a long day to unwind. Since Bolongo Bay is smaller and intimate, all 64 rooms are beachfront, so you can kick back and enjoy the Caribbean from the privacy of your balcony. Celebrating my 70th Birthday

Our stay at Bolongo Bay was very nice. I thought all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had an ocean view which we loved. The food at the Oasis and Iggys was very good. You are definitely given plenty to eat! Drinks were delicious but I would not say they were very strong. Rooms are clean but we did have issues with the toilet a couple of times. When this was brought to their attention it was quickly remedied. It was definitely a “laid back” atmosphere- which is something we appreciated.

Wonderful

Beautiful. 3rd time here. Staff and guest friendly. Baths need remodel. This is really my only criticism. We will ne coming back.

Loved relaxing here!

Just what we needed to relax for the week. - Enjoyed the all inclusiveness (Tried all the morning mimosas ) Because of food prices on the island this the way to go for most of your meals. - Staff was remarkable and friendly. Bartender memorized our bar order by the second day. Waiter found us one last piece of coconut bread pudding when they were "out." - Not one but two kitty mascots (Izzy and George) - Wonderful beach with lovely Adirondacks chairs for napping. - Good food and plenty of it - we could not eat all that was included - Iguanas, geckos, a Chicken! - never figured out if the chicken was a guest or a resident. Some guests were a little noisy at night, but we enjoyed the live music each night, up close or from the balcony. Sandy beach is pretty narrow, gets rocky in a hurry, but that's good for snorkeling.

Outstanding Family Vacation @ Bolongo Bay beach Resort

Our family traveled to Bolongo Bay 1/10/26. If you want to stay at a giant corporate resort this may not be for you. Small, family owned resort. Restaurant, bar and beach are a short, very easy walk from our hotel room. Great views. The family who runs it made us feel welcome. So did the staff. We had a great time and will go back again. Go to St. John for a day. Easy trip. Stunning beaches.

We had an amazing time! The staff was welcoming, making us feel like family! Food, drink, entertainment are all perfect. The resort was extremely clean. We will definitely be back!
