Checked in today. So far the worst experience ever!! It feels like a 2 star hotel. It took us 1 hour and half to just check in!! When made the reservation for 10 rooms, they promised at least 1 room with sea view. When we got here and after the 90 minutes wait, they said this was not possible, not even paying! The manager Marlon Perez basically dismissed us completely. Then they gave us a room they said it was close to the water.. Another plain lie!!!! Out room couldn’t be father away from the beach and the place is huge!!! As mentioned, a tipical 2 star hotel treatment. Rooms are nice though.

1st Experience
Everything exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure. 40 year old couple who left the kids at home with grandma for a few days. The palace was amazing, great buffets, great ala carte restaurants. Most accommodating service you could ask for. 10/10

Excellent stay at a tremendous resort
We took our young teenagers and joined some friends and had an amazing trip. Great spot for excursions, or just to chill on the beach or by the pool.

Amazing family vacation at a gorgeous resort!
Barceló Maya is everything you would dream about! The resort is absolutely spotless, including guest rooms, and the staff is amazing. Our family would return to the resort in a heartbeat to enjoy the gorgeous weather and comfortable, relaxing amenities. Hopefully see you soon!
