    Great value and fun experience!

    This was our first time staying at a Barceló property and we loved every minute of it. The resort grounds were very clean, as were the rooms. The buffet for breakfast and lunch had variety. The specialty restaurants were good.but not our favorite compared to other resort chains. The beach is beautiful, a bit shelly but nothing horrible. No problem getting chairs at the pools. All in all we had a fantastic time.

    Great stay

    overall experience was very good, greeting from staff very friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, pool experience was good bar availability on each pool design of the side swimming area is also a plus since you can watch from the pool in front.

    TERRIBLE HOTEL, save your money!!

    The staff are rude especially the manager at Caribe buffet. The quality of food is not very good. You can’t make any reservations like the spa, booking restaurants at the resort, or anything else online. You have to do it in person at guest services. This resort is not worth the money. Highly recommend not staying here.

    Exceptional Barcelo Maya Premium level

    Reserve premium level if you can. Its worth the added cost! Large, beautiful ocean view room, 1 hour daily use of hydrotherapy at the spa, a la carte restaurant every day, premium lounge access, expedited check in and out. Excellent service! Wonderful grounds
