Feb 08, 2026Another great vacation at Barceló Huatulco
We love this resort because it’s small and right on the beach. The weather is perfect and reliable for sun lovers. The staff is awesome and most of them go out of their way to please you or attend to your needs. It’s our second time we visit for two weeks. We loved the shows, wonderful band and dancers, very entertaining and artistic! The food was good for the most part, a lot of Mexican fare, which we enjoyed. We didn’t like the way the handle the tanning beds, some people hoard up to 14 beds at a time and don’t show up until 3 pm, that is not fair, in order to get a bed you have to get up at 5:30 am and this is not what you want when you’re on vacation. The hotel needs to find a most practical way to get a bed in the morning when the sun is best for tanning. We hope to go back next year as it is a very safe and beautiful area with perfect weather, great people and top notch service. Thank you! Koodos to Mónica Román, Elvia Cruz, Maraí Cruz, Carolina Torres and Francisco Rosado for going out of their way to meet our needs and special requests. Than you so much, you made a big difference and make us want o go back again and again 💕💕

Good value for money
Resort was on a smaller scale but accomodated most well. Lobby could be bigger. When waiting for dinner the lobby was packed. Staff was friendly. Food was mediocre. Thought it was odd that they didn't offer tacos or guacamole for being in Mexico. Overall we had a good experience.

This hotel was perfect. Full of friendly people and staff. Rooms were very clean, food was good. Will definitely be back
I don’t see why i would go anywhere else. Absolutely paradise, love this place. Always hot and a get place to unwind. Enjoyed the upgraded lounge.

Another great Barcelo experience
As a return guest at a Barcelo Resort (previously stayed at Barcelo in Puerto Vallarta), we really enjoyed our stay.
