The staff were vey friendly but there’s a huge language barrier to deal with. The food was only good in certain areas.

Staff is generally rude and feels bothered by guests and providing services. Restaurants are an exhausting experience, food is subpar compared to other reasonably priced all inclusive resorts, making reservations is difficult, buffet items are frequently empty and overall meals detract from the experience. Golf is listed as included with cart fee, cart fee is $85 US, and for a poorly maintained course. It’s a shame because the layout is great and it could be a fun experience. The beach and ppl are fantastic, drinks are good, so if that’s your focus and the price is right, may work for you. I wouldn’t go back or recommend, and regret not spending a bit more for an actual vacation experience.

The location and scenery were absolutely amazing. Most of the staff except a few were rude and you could sense they did not like helping American/s that did not speak Spanish. Language barrier is terrible.

We stayed here Dec 15-25th This hotel is great. This was our third time here, this time we travelled with 10 total. We had 4 seniors 2 middle age and 6 teens. You never have to do the chair battle early in the morning, even at 10am we could find chairs together either at beach or pools. Food was great and i could book reservations for all 10 of us most days. Room layout is weird with shower as there’s no privacy door on half of it so if starting with children or friend could be awkward, the hotel can easily fix this with a type of sliding barn door. We golfed 3 times at the lakes course. Fun track, costs $85USD per round but can discount if you golf more then 4x. This has gone up over the past year is so, used to be $45. Everywhere here the staff was really friendly. We look to return again.

Stay away from this place
We just checked in today and booked a junior suite. Waited 45 minutes in line to check in, even though there was only one family in front of me. Got to the room and at first glance it looks great. Spacious and has a hot tub on the balcony. However, the tv, mini fridge, and safe don’t work. The shower is missing the body wash dispenser. The bathroom sink leaks so we have towels all over the floor. Worst of all, the air barely works and the room is very humid. If you’re going to the buffet, only eat what is freshly cooked in front of you. The buffet “hot” food is cold and the meat is tough. Let’s see if they make an attempt to fix or change the room tomorrow. I did ask for body wash dispenser but no one came. Go elsewhere in Punta Cana!
