    Very satisfied

See you in April I will be back. Please fix lighting in bedroom, and also the sinks in the bathroom do not drain. And also, I need to be closer to the main dining room as we have old knees and ankles and bad hips. See you in April.

Best thing was the beach because the service was absolute disappointment. Not going back.

First, the vacaciones barcelo shuttle overcharged me $60 on the shuttle transport (their mistake) and I had to talk to 2 people to get them to refund me the money (they said they will, but so far the refund has not posted to my account). The attitude of the sales person from vacaciones barcelo left much to be desired. It is like they were haggling me for the money owed to me for their mistake. At the end of the exchange, one lady even asked me if I was a Christian and whether I believed in God. This was extremely inappropriate and it made me feel very uncomfortable around the sudden group of people who came to the supervisor's office as I was speaking to him. Overall, an unpleasant experience. I then had to talk to a man who was working at a towels concession and asked him to call a security guard (I had witnessed some apparent inappropriate behavior from another guest and wanted the guard to take a look at it), but the man said no one was available, and then I had to press him until he called someone on the radio. Nobody came after 5 minutes, so I told him I would go and find a guard (which I did about 3 minutes later), but the man at the concession just acted like it was a whole chore to help me. Next I had to call the reception desk 3 times in the span of an hour to have them call a technician to look at my TV which was not turning on. And on the last night of my stay, the receptionist thought it was a good idea to call me at 10:19pm to confirm if I needed help with my luggage the next day. She woke me up - that time was not ok for a call from a reception desk. Next right after I checked in at Barcelo beach (the adults-only side), I was told the hotel was full and that they were putting me in the family side (Barcelo Palace). I said no because the reason I booked my room was to see no children during my stay .Though the staff offered an upgrade (or so they said because I never saw a comparison of rooms), I felt forced to take it because there was no real alternative to not having a room at all. They said my stay would include all the restaurants, but that was not even true because I had to pay extra for the Comedia restaurant anyway (and it turned out to have mediocre food on the menu, so it was a disappointing experience). Lastly, I paid $40 to have all-day access to the hotel's spa and part of the amenities were not working (one of the hamams was out), a third of the lockers was not working, no clean towels were available, etc.
