Really a great place!!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and the place and staff were wonderful. We both loved the quaintness off this property, small and not overwhelming. The food was always good and we enjoyed the different buffet for each day. The Fish Deck restaurant food was wonderful. We enjoyed the variety of food on property and did not visit the other locations. The beaches and ocean water was beyond beautiful. We are already planning our next trip back.

Nice beach, terrible food!

The setting is beautiful, the staff is very nice but the food was tasteless and selection was small. Also we never got the safe combo working and one television took about 3 visits from maintenance. The resort says you can use their sister resorts but we used the beach at one and were reprimanded by he manager there even though the beach was void of users. It was really bazaar. Then he said we couldn’t sit in the first row if umbrellas, they were for guests in the particular hotel but that unused for the day because nobody was staying there.

The Alexandra Resort

Just came back from a wonderful week at the Alexandra Resort. We loved that it was all-inclusive and we didn't have to worry about how much we ate or drank. Some of the things we especially enjoyed included: The ability to walk the beach for miles in each direction. Taking the shuttle to the two sister properties, giving us a good variety of restaurants to choose from. Riding the hotel bikes into town, where we dropped off donations and visited the puppies at Potcake Place. We even rode our bikes to Blue Haven for lunch one day. Doing water aerobics with "Amy from Albuquerque" in the pool three mornings. Listening to the wonderful band, Positive Vibrations. Such a treat! Most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with only a couple of exceptions. Our hostess, Jessica, was especially noteworthy. Such a sweet lady. We rented a car for a one-day exploration of the island, and the company brought the car to us. We visited The Hole, Sapodilla Bay, ate lunch at Da Conch Shack, and did quite a bit of geocaching. We ate dinner one night off-site at Coco Bistro, which was a fun experience but made us appreciate the all-inclusive feature of the Alexandra even more after paying the bill! Chairs by the pool were always easy to find. Chairs on the beach were mostly available as long as you placed personal items on them by mid to late morning. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and easy. We especially enjoyed the omelet station. Lots of other options were available. We ate most of our lunches on the deck overlooking the ocean, where there was a lunch menu in addition to access to the indoor buffet, the jerk chicken station, and pizza. We rotated restaurants for dinner, and my personal favorites were the Beach House and the fish restaurant at Alexandra. There is not much I could suggest to improve our experience other than perhaps adding more frequent shuttle options. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone considering going to Turks & Caicos.

Beautiful water and beaches

5 nights at this beautiful resort. Beach is great, it was nice to have the option to eat at the two sister resorts for more variety with the all inclusive. Snorkeling within a 20 minute walk down the beach
