STAY AWAY!!!
This hotel has a lot of issues. First, it’s undergoing renovation, which it desperately needs! I had to switch rooms because the first one they gave us smelled like mildew. Maybe it was coming from the water soaked hallway they were trying to dry with a fan! I had to calk them at night to turn it off so we could sleep. I had to call them twice to fix a squeaking bathroom door that woke up the dead every-time someone opened or closed it. The walls are paper thin, so not only can you hear your neighbors conversations, but you can hear EVERYTHING! The power went out multiple times, along with the internet (even when there was power!) I literally took a cold shower in the dark! I almost forgot about the fire alarm! Stay away from this place until they have completed their renovations. They tried to buy my silence with a $300 credit to my hotel incidentals. But that is no where near enough compensation for our horrendous experience.

Love the Marriott Stellaris - Aruba!
Have stayed many times at the Marriott Stellaris - Aruba and it never disappoints. Especially love the casino! We have had exceptional customer service and specifically would like to call out Jeffery C. the slot manger. He went above and beyond our expectations- Highly recommend this hotel and casino when visiting Aruba!

Main pool bar and pool area.
We found the pool bar to be very dirty. The cabinets, countertops, outside speakers and the entire bar is very dirty. The outside speakers looked like they never been cleaned, they were black but they are actually white color. The cabinets and the equipment looked rusted and very dirty. Just to clarify, it was not busy we were the only ones at the bar. The manager should go in the pool sit at the pool bar to see what guests are expecting. Just walk around and look at the speakers ad well! My husband and I had one drink and never went back, we spent all of our days on the beach. This is a great resort, but this needs to be taken care all the time. Over all we had a good time, this is our only complaint.

Exceptional service, wonderful experience
We have been vacationing here over 10 years, at Tradewinds level, they never disappoint. The staff in the Tradewinds is so attentive to your needs, the breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings are always well planned, deliciously prepared, and the staff is constantly checking to see that items are replenished. Special thanks to "Jackie" at the Tradewinds, she's always ready to help with dinner reservations and any other issues that may arise. Also want to mention Nik Hernandis, Front Desk Supervisor. He is definitely a "hands on" manager, always asking guests if there's anything he can do to make their stay more enjoyable. There is renovation work going on throughout the property, the noise is minimal, I wouldn't let that sway anyone from staying here. Lobby bar has nightly entertainment and a wonderful gelato stand, it's addictive!!! The pools are well kept, grounds are immaculate, beach is nothing short of beautiful. We've tried other properties, this is definitely our favorite!!!

AWFUL MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE!!
Unfortunately, we came during renovations and this was not known until after booking. The construction rang through the entire resort everyday including constant fire alarms. I called when i became aware of the construction because my sister has bad migraines and allergies asking to be away from any renovations. I was told this would not be a problem. This was not the case after spending many days and nights in a dark hotel room, I started reading that guests were being relocated to other properties. For first timers to Aruba and a Bonvoy member I will never stay at a Marriott property again. Knowing my sister’s medical conditions Marriott never offered an alternative nor did the check in on her. Also room service was not consistent and short staffed- we decided to hang the do not disturb sign almost daily. Disappointed and no longer a member…. NY vacationer

- AdvisoryWe’re thrilled to announce a complete renovation of guest rooms at hotel, beginning May 5, 2025, and concluding by Oct 2025. This phased transformation ensures minimal disruption, with the resort fully operational. Enjoy modernized rooms featuring ocean-view windows, chic furniture, and luxurious bathrooms. All amenities, dining, and activities remain available, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and indulgence. Experience the charm of hotel embracing the Dutch concept of “niksen.”
