Jun 08, 2025A decent apartment hotel
We love Anse Marcel and have been visiting Anse Marcel off and on since 1995. We liked it when the Le Meridien hotel chain used to manage the properties. This time, we decided to try Le Domaine even though it seemed like it was no longer a full service hotel. This was more like an Apartment Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the office is only open till 6pm - after that, there is no one to help. The room included daily maid service. The beach is as lovely as ever and is the main reason to stay here. Lounge chairs/umbrellas are free for hotel guests. The beach restaurant is also quite nice for lunch or breakfast. Also, you're within a short drive to Grand Case, where many of the island's best restaurants are located. The rooms are generally clean and nice - we had a wonderful view of the ocean. As far as negatives, the towels were thin and rough like sand paper. There were no tissues/Kleenex - we went to the office and were provided the last box. We had mosquitos in the room - needed to buy mosquito repellant at the grocery store and that didn't work entirely well. We learned to live with the mosquitos and opted not to use the balcony because of the mosquitos. We were also visited in the room by a small gecko and a very large cockroach. If you're ok with the apartment/hotel concept, then this hotel is fine and you cannot find a better calm beach. We prefer a full-service hotel.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful resort! The room was clean, comfy king sized bed, kitchenette. The pool was clean and well maintained! The beach is gorgeous and the surf is calm! Special thank you to the two ladies at the front desk! Merci!

Beyond 5 stars for private and clean accommodations
The entire experience staying here from start to finish was beyond five stars. Stephane, Clemence and Stephanie could not have been more welcoming. The property was clean and very private. The amenities were lovely. The bed was luxurious and soft. The properties were well kept in the beach and breakfast each morning were top-notch. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that wants peace and quiet and a beautiful and clean accommodation.

Very nice resort!
An excellent resort, especially before and after sailing out of the Anse Marcel marina. Rooms are more than adequate, restaurant & spa are excellent and the beach is amazing. Beyond newly renovated rooms, the grounds are a bit weathered, but still beautiful. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

One of the best beaches we've visited
An extraordinary beach to swim, lovely to read a book on their comfy chaises, included with the room. So relaxing. Excellent attentive service everywhere at the resort as well as at the beach for drinks & lunch. We enjoyed some of best dinners in memory at the hotel's elegant Le Gourmet - fine French dining - seafood cooked perfectly and beautifully served. The room and balcony was good sized, bathroom and kitchens simple but well equipped. King bed was very hard. Le Petite Casino, the little grocery nearby, has everything you need for do-it-yourself breakfast & lunch at very reasonable prices. Good, reasonable dinners a few steps away at Nippon House and Blue Sail. Blue Sail serves an outstanding omelet for breakfast. We taxi'd to/from the airport, and rented a car onsite at the hotel when we needed it - very reasonable prices and super convenient - we would do this again rather than rent at the airport for the entire stay. We hope to return!
