I always enjoy the the service not only includes the food but also a good chatting and knowledge experience. Enery night I visited Pilar's spot to have good sushi or poke bowls and she put everything of her on every dish. I really liked knowing her.

    Didier is the best!

Great service! Really nice and Didier was really great at attending us!!! He is the best and made the experience much more memorable and pleasing! He also gave us great recommendations for what dishes to pick out. The cherry on top was that he offered us a great recommendation for dessert.

    Never again in my life

This is my first time vacationing at a Catalonia resort. We took a chance on this one because we felt it would be more romantic (celebrating our anniversary) since it is not located in until hotel zone. We were here 7nights. This will be an honest review The good- The a’la carte restaurants are surprisingly good. We ate at mamma Mia, ayami, the grill, and 5th ave burgers. Most of the staff are friendly.. standouts were bartender Helen and Salvador, waiter Johnathan, hibachi cook (can’t remember his name but he was awesome at T2.) The hostess at grill was very funny. The resort is beautiful The rooms are beautiful and a unique design The beach is clean They have an auditorium They have a sports bar / club They offer a no obligation photo service (Carol and Marian were awesome) that takes memorable photos of you on the beach, around the resort and you can schedule your own photo shoot. No cost to do so, only cost is purchasing of photos. The Bad - Not being a member of their privilege club sucks and it’s rubbed in your face. I could not book this room type as they were sold out. I took the tour to get the free massage and I wish I hadn’t. Nestor and his boss had us in a room trying to sell us a membership for 3 hours. We did get the massage voucher but in my opinion it was not worth my time wasted listening to guys trying to sell me on something when I told them No.. no means no.. Christian and yossie were awesome in getting us started with the tour. I still wish I had turned them down because of our engagement with Nestor and his boss. Room service sucks, food arrives cold and you will need to call them to remind them of your order number. We order an omelette and it arrived cold, ordered potatoes and were so hard I could use them as a weapon. We ordered ice because the mini cooler in the room did not get cold enough to keep the drinks cold. It took 2 hrs for them to deliver ice on three different nights. Horrible The buffet is mediocre at best. There is usually a line to enter the buffet while privileged members walk up and are seated immediately. There is no adult only pool, so you will see twerking, breast feeding, kids snorkeling in the same pool. Also kids ordering pina coladas from the swim up bar. My patio door does not lock and it was reported 3 times to several staff and maintenance The batteries in my room safe died twice and caused delays as we had to wait for maintenance to arrive. AC did not fully work and it took 1.5 days to repair Not a lot to do at night Drinks are watered down Building 1 elevator would work and you’d come back to find it not working. We took the service elevator which worked but smelled of garbage Overall I won’t be staying at this resort ever again in my life… if you do decide to come here, do not attend the free gift presentation
