  Good for a first experience but won’t be back

  The constant bait and switch of the timeshare behavior is obnoxious. I’m not interested in spending as much money and my PTO to try and be swayed for a timeshare. I also think the resort could be more representative of the Mexican culture. Mexico is a beautiful country with so many different states and I think having your dining represent that would create a better experience.

  Disappointed - booked a Premium Deluxe Ocean View room and you need binoculars to see the ocean !

  Am here now ... arrived last night with my granddaughter as a gift to celebrate the end of her GCSEs. Staff are amazing, no complaints thus far with food and the room itself is lovely ... however, I am hugely disappointed that after booking a Premium Deluxe Ocean View room which states has spectacular views of the carribean sea that I am in room 1438 from which you need binoculars to even see the Ocean. When challenging this at reception I was offered another room same floor / pretty much same view or the option of paying an additional $1,200 (one time only offer reduced to an additional $720 if I accepted immediately) for what I believed I had paid in the first instance !

  Just what I didn't like.

  The underage kids in the adult pool is a big issue, the property workers act as if they didn't care, there was big trash bins sitting outside your balcony full of seaweed which was just a eye sore. There are animals roaming and sleeping around the property as if they work there.

  Nice Resort but check the new Infinity Pool rules if you have kids!

  The resort was nice and the staff was great. Shout out to Lenry, who was a fantastic server at the pool. He was great! The biggest disappointment in this resort was their decision to change the infinity pool into an adults only pool. This happened the day after we arrived. We had a large group, 8 adults and 11 kids. They made no effort to notify their customers of this change when it was made 3+ months ago and have not even updated their website with regards to it either. This decision will essentially force all families with kids between the ages of 4-14 into their "activity pool". There is no way that pool can handle that many people. It is small and too deep for many kids to stand. The "kiddie pool" is only meant for kids 3 and under. The ocean is unusable at this point because of the seaweed issue in the Cancun area. The wait staff around the pool were also upset about it as they were losing out on tips in the empty infinity pool area. If they continue to try and enforce this rule, I do not recommend staying here. If you are a couple and get annoyed by kids around you, do yourself a favor and book an adults-only resort. Plenty of options out there.

  Great Experience for the Family!

  We stayed at Dreams June 20-26 and had a great time. The weather was nice and sunny all but the last day (which was fine because we got a cabana that day and it was the perfect day for it). Out package through the travel agent had us in Preferred which we have never done and we loved it. The rooms had the best air condition according to the staff and they were right. The hallways also were air cooled. With preferred, two other big perks: the preferred lounge with snacks and full bar all day long. They had the best desserts which my kids loved. And it was a nice break to go in and get a few minutes of air condition throughout the day. The Bars and Restaurants were all great. Most notable the Teppanyaki. You need to reserve a few days in advance because there are only three cooking tables with 8 chairs each. So, that experience is limited if you don't plan a head. And get there early if you have a reservation. If are you late, they give your spot to someone else to keep timing on track (which makes sense). There are tables to sit and order off the menu too. The preferred bar on the north end of the beach was our spot to go because you can ask for higher scale liquor for all your drinks. Just be sure to tip your tenders and servers. Cruz, Santiago, and Gersom were great to us all week! The gym was probably the best of any all inclusive we have stayed in. Six treadmills in great working condition (I can tell a crappy treadmill and these were good). The gym had both a nice cardio/weight room and another room for classes which also had some cardio and a Peloton. If you are a beer drinker and are used to American domestics, you won't find any here. They only have Tecate, Tecate Light, and Dos Equis. There is a tiny shop outside the resort down the street which has a lot of variety of beers. I sold them out of Mich Ultra, but they also had Corona light and others (no bud, miller, nor coors products). All three pools were great and never over crowded. We didn't use the kid pool with the slides as my kids preferred the other two pools. The beach was great too. We went into the ocean the first two days. Yes, there is sea weed but the staff is out there all day/every day trying to clear it out. If you are a person who reads these reviews and focus on the negative ones, don't. It is an all-inclusive. Don't set your bar too high and you will enjoy it. All the negative reviews probably come from picky people who hate vacation and are always finding something to complain about. Enjoy your trip!!
