Do not go with kids or as a family trip

Upon arrival, we found out there are only 2 out of the 10 restaurants we can eat at with kids. The first day we got there the concierge told us she could get us into one of them so she booked at the steak house for 6:30 PM. Upon arrival the guy said the reservation was only for 2 people (not for our family of 4). I said well there must be a misunderstanding because she knew it was for 4 people and i made the reservation in person with my kids with me. The manager was rude and said he could not accommodate our reservation. After 15 minutes of us "Fighting" with them about it he moved us to the Italian restaurant and that place was not good at all. Considering we could only eat at 2 places with kids and the Italian place was gross we tried to get into the steak house for the next few nights and it was completely booked. We were forced to eat at the buffet for the rest of our vacation. During the day, the poolside lunch options were gross. Chicken place was nasty with cold and gross fries, the pizza place was always cold and nasty never fresh. They had no activities during the day for kids and only 1 show at night while we were there that lasted 30 mins so i would say the activities and shows also sucked. The only good thing about this place was the pools. The pools were very clean and warm. The drinks i had at the pool were also gross. I have stayed at probably 7 all inclusive in Mexico and this was by far the worst. I never expect to get "Great" food at all inclusives but i expect a middle of the road and this was far below. The food and drinks were gross, the rooms were OKAY although i talked to 2 people at the pool that said rooms were not clean. One girl told me she had mold in her bed and the other couple i talked to said there were dead bugs in their room. Overall, not a good experience at all.

All Inclusive is not at The Grand Oasis.

All Inclusive here doesn't mean that. Pay for beach beds, room safe, some restaurants. we had maid service 2x out of 5 days. Much of the staff unhelpful. BUT, the Buffet service was great, food was not. A lot of chicken, a little fish. One positive: the wrist band had a chip in it, as your door key.

DO NOT GO- WORST VACATION EXPERIENCE- ALERT: THIS IS A TIME SHARE RESORT

DEAR MANAGEMENT, I hope this letter finds you well, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Grand Oasis hotel in Mexico my experience at your establishment fell far short of expectations, I had for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Upon arrival, My wife and I were dismayed to find that the room we had reserved with two beds was not available even when we try to upgrade the room they would not allow us to upgrade the room we were even willing to pay the additional upgrade fee of $600 instead they gave us a single bed and a rollaway mattress for our son to sleep on. If we did not agree to the rollaway mattress our son would have to sleep on the floor or in the bed with us, he is 12 years of age, which makes it clearly unacceptable to sleep with us. Why would we want to put our son in a rollaway mattress on vacation? Please explain that to me this was highly inconvenient and uncomfortable. In addition to that the bathroom toilet did not flush and the noise in the room was excruciating it was extremely loud at night it was coming from the pipes in the bathroom ( a loud whistle sound) and there was nothing you could really do about it- the hot water didn't work the pressure in the hotel water was horrible the water kept going on and off as you take the shower. Furthermore, the quality of the food served at the hotel was subpar with many of dishes were cold and unappetizing, this was a significant disappointment as dining experiences are a crucial aspect of any vacation. Several of the restaurants you had to book in advance when you tried to book in advance there was nothing available; and if you tried to go to the buffet the lines were extremely long and when you got inside the food was cold it just could not make sense it did not make sense to us. Equally troubling was the lack of satisfactory customer service throughout the staff members were unresponsive to our concerns and it seems indifferent to our needs, which diminishes our overall enjoyment of the trip. No one was accommodating. Additionally, I was unaware prior to booking that the hotel operated on a timeshare basis and was not fully all inclusive this lack of transparency led to further frustration when we discovered that certain amenities and areas of the hotel were inaccessible to us without additional fees. For instance, we were shocked to learn that access to the beach required a payment of 125 for the rental of a chair, leaving us with limited options for relaxation and enjoyment. in summary my experience at the Grand Oasis was far from satisfactory I believe that the misrepresentation of the hotel as all-inclusive is deceptive and unfair to guests who expect a certain standard of quality and service I urge you to address these issues promptly and take steps to improve the overall experience for future guests as a frequent traveler I can assure you that I will not be recommending Grand Oasis hotel to friends or family until significant improvements are made. Respectfully submitted.

    Worst Resort Ever

Service was awful. Food was worse. Went to get a taco for lunch and they ran out of tortillas. Staff did not greet or welcome guests. Staff spent a lot of time on their phone. Rooms were old and tired. Ocean view was a garden view. Hidden upcharges everywhere. We even got kicked out of a chair on the beach - that wasn’t behind ropes - as we didn’t have a black bracelet. We’ve been coming to Mexico for 20 years and never had an experience like this. Checking out? Gave us a hard time fir checking out early. Really??? Horrible experience. Stay away!!

    Avoid at all costs.

Let me warn you before you go. This place is horrible and we've been to multiple all inclusive so comparatively it's really bad. First off we upgraded to use all restaurants and bars. We could not get a single reservation at a restaurant and even set the alarm for 8am and still no reservation. Not to mention the Glass Bar they said we could use and worth the upgrade was closed the entire time. There is literaly one bar open at night on the entire property. Be prepared for the worst buffet everyday. I can't explain how bad the food is. Second the rooms never got cleaned but straightened. Sand in the sake sheets all week, 2 towels and had to use one by the bed to remove the sand from the floors before getting in the bed. The remote was in shambles and we had to get our cards reporgrammed twice during our stay. Friends door access stopped working and they had to replace the entire door which took 3 hours. The pool ran out of towels daily and people leave stuff on chairs overnight so they claim them all week. We found dirty underwear laying around and cups floating in the pool among many other things. We had the worst experience and highly warn others as many voiced their concern while down there.
