At the end of each school year, my teacher bestie and I take a vacation together; this was our sixth year and our sixth different all-inclusive resort company. We’ll be coming back to Iberostar for sure. Here are a few reasons why: (1) Good food. The desserts were a little shaky, but the regular food offerings were on point. The grilled asparagus at the Italian restaurant was next level. (2) Friendly and helpful staff. All over the resort. Special shout outs to Shanae at the spa (awesome massage) and Alex at the Italian restaurant, who helped me get exactly the dish I wanted. Mr. Fresh was also great. Phenomenal. (3) Ample pool chairs and beds. It may have been because we went at the tail end of the low season, but we never had to search for places to sit and the resort overall was quiet, which is just the way we like it. (4) Huge rooms. The bathroom had two vanities and the lounge chair in the living area was perfect for reading. The deck was huge and very comfortable. (5) No towel cars. I can’t even express how awesome this was. You could just get towels for the pool. More than one of them. Whenever. Amazing. (6) Room key on wrist band. I’m not typically a fan of resort wrist bands, but this one had our room key right on it. Love it. Overall, great resort experience. We’ll be back!

Donovan and Shelly are wonderful hosts and the Prestige beach. We want for nothing when they are here for us. 5 stars every single day. We can’t wait to come back!

From the moment we arrived the service was top-notch. Sonika checked us in. I wanted to surprise my husband and decorate the room for his birthday. She made it happen! She walked me up to the room and helped blow up balloons, put out pictures and had champagne and cheesecake sent to the room. Joevaughni carried our luggage to our room and was very helpful and gave us the lay of the land. Ms. Tanesha was our housekeeper she was excellent!! She kept our room tidy the entire time. Cassandra was the best bartender and Melesia was an awesome server. After the first day, the both knew what my husband and I needed before we even asked. Lastly, Natalie and Omoy wonderful food servers. The food was delicious. There were things to do during the day and shows in the evening. Guest services was quick and responsive. My only complaint is the pool closes at 6pm but even that won't keep us from coming back!

Best time
We visited this property to celebrate my honey 50th birthday and we had the best time from check in to checkout Staff was polite professional & engaging Our butler staff Christopher Rennardo Davon was attentive & on task the entire stay. Made sure to check with us from morning to night thru WhatsApp& kept us informed of all activities & lunch & dinner times. I’ve stayed at many all inclusive from Cancun to Dubai & by far they set the bar. The food was so-so but the steakhouse on property 10/10. Karen was our waitress & she made sure we had the best experience she was all about you’re on vacation I will take of you & she did. The nightly shows were great but the Motown show was A+ phenomenal. I will definitely return back to Montego Bay & my 1st stop must be Iberostar Joia Rose Hall

Jul 03, 2025Roaches and Antonio Ruined The Stay
I stayed for 6 nights to celebrate graduating. I was given a massage for the first roach incident day and Romell said the room would be fumigated that day. But when it happened the next day his manager Antonio said he could not do anything more about the second incident on the second day except move my room. Roaches in your room in a resort is not okay and a health risk so I don't know why he couldn't. So his response and service was unacceptable to the second roach incident. Everyone and everything was great except the roach and Antonio's lack of willingness to do more than the bare minimum in regards to the sanitary risk of roaches when I didn't pay bare minimum prices for my stay.
