    Awful. Just awful.

From the inability to manage food allergies/preferences, to a broken toilet that despite multiple repeated visits stayed broken (I did tell them repeatedly to change the seat as the hinge portion was damaged). Paradisus was anything but idyllic. The food everywhere was disappointing as heck. The only time anyone took an interest in getting my food restrictions appropriate was a gentleman named Luis at Sante. Every single other restaurant was a major letdown. Room service would be better off not existing. The quality of the food is akin to Chef Boyardee and microwaved pizza. The Circle Club offer is hilariously overpriced and given the service, incredibly poor value. For the price per night we paid I’d never stay at another Melia property ever again. At half the rate this resort would still not be worth wasting your money on.

Asian restaurant a good change from typical teppanyaki

Karina at Tokimeku was delightful. She was very attentive, food was quick to come, and she had plenty of recommendations to provide. Recommend the shrimp tempura, gyozas, and shrimp niguiri. The outside patio spot was also a nice little oasis.

    Beautiful resort

I like to share the pros and cons of each of the places I visit... Pros: - the staff - for the most part - friendly, kind, attentive - the only exception would be some of the front desk staff could be more friendly at times (hit or miss). Staff that were worthy of special note here for their wonderful service: - Jamie - our concierge - friendly, helpful - went out of his way and reserved a dinner at a Cabo restaurant for my daughter's birthday - Andres - our pool concierge - a nice, helpful, friendly young man who always had a smile on his face - Pedro at the Asian restaurant - a kind and helpful man who was a pleasure to talk with - Kevin - a Sante server (we had him for one breakfast in the reserve and he went out of his way to make me a smoked salmon bagel that was not on the menu - Mariska - the greeter at the morning buffet and Aqua Marine restaurant - kind, friendly and helpful - a gentleman server at the Aqua Marine restaurant - I'm sorry but I forget his name - he was kind, funny - when I asked about a drink when I went by another table, he not only told me what it was but made one for me 'to go' - the beach was beautiful and swimmable despite being 'red-flagged' every day (not sure why) - the grounds of the resort are beautiful, well-maintained and clean - it is not a huge resort so easy to walk around - bands playing in the evenings were very good and fun - the only exception may be the latin band that played music that was not familiar to most - the food at the dinner restaurants was different and delicious - the Ginger bar served great drinks - the coffee and ice cream shops were nice to have - the Aqua Marine restaurant on the water was beautiful and open during the day till 6 p.m. - the 'food truck' was fun and had good food by the pool - the room was 'fine' - not great and not bad - bedding was nice and the room was very quiet. Also, we were top floor and had a clear railing so we could see the ocean while seated - my daughter's room however, had a concrete railing so she had to stand to see the ocean Cons: - the temperature of the main pool - way TOO COLD for this time of the year - this particular con would keep me from going to this resort again at any time other than maybe summer - lack of entertainment in the evenings - after the bands finished there was nothing else to do; there was a fire-show one night that we only knew of because we happened to be in the Ginger bar and heard the music (otherwise we would not have known it was happening) - lack of activity during the day - other than a couple of days of pool exercises (pool too cold to go in), there was nothing else going on (there may have been 9 a.m. yoga but I am not sure); there are no pool or ping pong tables, etc. if that is something that you like to do during the day - there were a few kids at the resort on several days - a family with a baby was at the pool area a couple of days Recommendations: - it's a small thing but perhaps install hooks in the public ladies' washrooms for hanging a purse/bag - initiate more activity during the day Rooms3.0Service5.0Location5.0

Good resort in Cabo! With caveats

The resort is beautiful. The views of the sea are stellar once you get past the pool. Rooms are very nice and remarkably quiet for a big resort! Rooms are very clean and people are accommodating. The pros: Raul and Pedro at the Asian restaurant made the trip extra special. They were very attentive and the food was delicious. They made us feel special and made us smile. Thank you Raul and Pedro! The cons: the wine, beer and drinks, as well as the other restaurants are mediocre at best. Definitely not as good as was expected for the price. Reservations required for dinner at any location was a real bummer. Limited drink service at the pool was very peculiar. Overall I would not come back. But Pedro and Raul were the shining stars of our stay. Thank you Cabo!

Cabo is beautiful and I’m glad I came but I can’t recommend this resort.

My first time to Cabo and it’s a beautiful area. I was surprised to see children every day at the “Adult Only” resort ! Food was average and having to make a reservation Every night in the 3 restaurants available was a pain. Room service was fast, but always cold food. The wine was awful, skunked and all the whites were more tart/sour than anything. The elevator was broken the entire stay at the building 1. They also had construction going right next to our balcony. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was fine and everything worked. The pool was beautiful but freezing cold. I think I got in once to my knees and got out in minutes. I’m so glad we didn’t upgrade to The Reserve, they were all with us commoners poolside, having the same underwhelming experience.
