Bad bad bad. Way too expensive for what’s provided
Listen, long story short: Bad food (bland, do Dominican food a disservice, are better outside. Best restaurant? Room service and Helios lunch), security concerns (no emergency rope in bathroom, no first aid kits). Butlers are essentially a glorified booking service but Lloana was an angel. Had BAD issues with the travel club, they were very rude to us

Perfect vacations
We felt better than at home. Their service was superb. Their staff there are a gold mine. Thank you for making us feel more than welcome.

Nice resort spoiled by hard sell of club on first day
It is a nice resort the service staff are wonderful and they do have fantastic restaurants but, it’s spoiled by the hard sell of their club and it is a hard sell for 3 hours on your first day when you are tired and in a very noisy distracting environment where you will be aggressively tag teamed and you are afforded no time to make an informed decision. While I would not advise anyone to not stay I would definitely pre-warn of the tactics your sales staff employ. You may say it is not a time share but it feels like a time share. Beware of a significant financial commitment you may find it very hard to divorce from. Such a shame!

Staff lovely but poor hotel
I see the review being good but I suppose that is from which country you are from to what you maybe use to and what you are use to. So take this into mind. We arrived at the hotel and first impression were how big it was, to big we found out. So the positives. The staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for you. TRS pool bar and entertainment staff great and not to forget the maids and all staff who work very hard. Wifi is the first hotel we have stayed at where it is always good. Negative They sell themselves on how many restaurants they have, we tried to book when we arrived and found out there was very little avaliablity and had to take what was free being either very early or late and a choice of 1 or 2 each day, that we had to repeat where we went. This was poor and we are in low season, what it is like in high season. The food was poor and always cold if you went for the buffet. Which breakfast and lunch was at helios. We did try the other buffets twice and were worse, like being in a busy canteen and you were always waiting for a table. The la cart restaurants, you were rushed, and again the food wasn't much to write home about and the steak house was alwful. Loud and not relaxing. The hotel rooms are dated. The worse thing which started the holiday off was we were pulled to arrange what we were told a tour round the hotel for the next morning of which they took us to breakfast to then only find out we were at a 90min hard sales pitch. If we had known we would of declined. We were on holiday to relax not to be mislead and tried to be sold a share time. This is not a good impression given of the hotel. I wouldn't recommend the hotel and wouldn't be back. The money we paid was not good value. The only thing I can say is well done staff for the hard work you put in.

Great food. Watch out for the welcome breakfast.
Great food. Enjoyed the swim up. Did not enjoy the hard sell travel club disguised as a tour of the facilities/welcome breakfast.
