    Harborside Does Not Disappoint

Beautiful resort with comfortable rooms and all the benefits/perks of the Atlantis/Paradise Island Resort. Easy walk and/or convenient shuttle service to all hotels, shopping and the golf course. Great pools and waterpark included! Highly recommend!

    Amazingly fun trip

This is an absolutely beautiful place with so much to do. The people are friendly and genuinely helpful. I didn’t have a bad meal while I was there. You have to check out all the things to do there but don’t forget to go into town and see Bay St, the pirate museum and do a little rum tasting. Expect for pricing on everything to be very high for the average person. We booked an excursion through trip advisor to see other islands, was expensive but amazing. Worth every penny.

    Had the best time ever!

This is a must have vacation we had so much fun. The food was amazing. The experiences cannot even be explained definitely go here. The lines were short. The casino was fun we even tried out the movie theater. My favorite restaurant was Chopstix.

    Nassau is Well Worth Visiting

Need twin beds in second bedroom as difficult to sleep with my grand daughter (5 years old) in a queen bed. Did not make me smile and was not restful. Definitely would have preferred twin beds. Pools were well kept, plenty of lounge chairs and towels were plentiful.

    NEVER AGAIN

This was our second visit to Harborside, and we noticed several positive improvements since our last stay—the pool is larger, and the restaurant has definitely improved. However, we were disappointed by the condition of our room and the overall level of service we experienced this time. We stayed in a two-bedroom lock-off unit (2755–2754), and upon arrival, a few things were immediately off: the remote control in the living room was missing, the paper towels were nearly gone with no replacements, and then we walked into the bathroom—which was a complete shock. The bathroom was in very poor condition. It turns out we were placed in a handicapped-accessible room, which we did not request. The shower chair was rusted, the grab bars were loose and pulling away from the wall, the shower curtain was moldy, and there was visible mold and mildew throughout the bathroom. The musty smell was overwhelming. It was incredibly disappointing and frankly unacceptable. We reported this to the front desk immediately, but were told no manager was available and advised to speak with someone the following day. That same day, we were greeted by Bernita Munnings at the concierge desk, who encouraged us to sign up for a 90-minute presentation. We declined, as we already own two properties and weren’t looking to purchase more. The next morning, I showed Bernita the photos I had taken of the bathroom. She was very surprised and asked me to send them to her, which I did. She mentioned forwarding them to the manager and suggested I speak with her directly. When I approached the manager outside, she simply asked, “What room?” and then told me to “check back at 3.” That was the entire conversation—no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, no effort to resolve it. If she did in fact receive the photos, she didn’t mention them or offer any explanation. At this point, I have to wonder—does anyone on the team actually know (or care) about the state of that bathroom? On Monday, April 28, a housekeeper knocked and asked if we’d like service. We requested clean sheets and towels, and for the trash to be emptied. She returned with a set of linens and towels—but never made the bed or took the old ones away. Used towels and garbage remained in our room for the rest of the week. We ended up making our own beds and stacking soiled linens to the side. We eventually did attend the presentation because we had a few general questions about Marriott and Vistana. But once the rep learned we weren’t interested in sitting through the full 90 minutes, she rushed through our questions and clearly wanted to move on. On a more positive note, we did enjoy the restaurant—the food was great, and we found ourselves ordering some dishes more than once. Monique, one of the servers, was particularly wonderful—friendly and attentive. Bernita was also kind and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the bartender didn’t seem to know how to make one of the drinks we ordered, and even after looking it up, the drink wasn’t made well. Also disappointing: poolside service, which was available at the beginning of our stay, suddenly disappeared mid-week and never returned. The highlight of our trip, without a doubt, was access to Atlantis. We loved walking to the Marina shops and restaurants and enjoyed everything the Atlantis property had to offer. While we appreciated a few of the changes and the efforts of select staff, this experience left us with too many frustrations. Sadly, this will be our last visit to Harborside.
