Located in the Royal Towers, and viewable from the lower level of the Great Hall of Waters, the Ruins Lagoon, filled with ancient Atlantis artifacts, is home to over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. These open-water fish include a variety of tuna, jacks, snappers and spiny lobster. The 2.7 million-gallon exhibits allow for the magnificent display of certain species of fish that are normally impossible or very difficult to view without getting wet.

May 17, 2025Somewhat disappointed.
We rented two rooms at Atlantis coral from 5/11 until 5/15. On the first night there (Sun) a young man fell from the balcony and died as a result of the fall. We saw the police and ambulance there at the time but didn’t know what happened. The hotel made absolutely no mention of this and my son found out from another hotel guest. I looked it up and read about it in the paper. As a parent of two similar age kids I feel very sad for the family. The drinking age is 18 in the Bahamas and I would suspect that played some role. The restaurants are all about 3 times as expensive as you would pay in the States and the food was about average. Most of the service staff are not that friendly but are also not rude. The coral rooms are a bit dated but clean and well maintained with daily cleaning service. My overall impression is that for the same amount of money it may be better spent elsewhere.

Service was terible, staff rude and unprofessional. They would chat amonth themselves while guests waiting in line, unwilling to help, lazy, rude, incompetent. Worst hotel/resort experience we ever had and we travel around the world every month. As a Marrtiott Bonvoy Platinum member, not only did they not honor our membership benefits, they treated us very poorly to the point of not even providing the type of room we reserved and paid for. Terible! Stay away form this place!

A vacation and not a trip there's a difference, beaches Incredible! Also incredible service.Goes down as top 5 vacations ever,from pre- arranged transportation, To check in, house cleaning, A shout out to all the staff in general! Oh and can't forget the shuttle drivers!!

Good amenities, low quality customer service and stolen items
The resort has many facilities in terms of pools, fish aquariums and beaches. I brought my son and mother for my business trip and they had a lot of fun on the beach and at the pools around the hotel. There are many activities you can take part of however the prices are very high, 2-3 times the price vs out of the resort. The staff was friendly within the water park but not too friendly on the reception. There were huge queues for checkins and checkouts. Healthy food options are not very available, especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. Room service for food takes between 45-60 min which is a bit too much in my opinion given the menu. My jacket was stolen from my room at checkout, the hotel staff claimed it was not there when I know it was left on the hanger in the wardrobe. This is a similar experience some of my colleagues had when forgetting items in their room at checkout. In my view given the pricing of the hotel this is unacceptable so if you still decide to go because of all the amenities be careful with your stuff because whatever you leave in your room or around the hotel will not be found.

I may or may not go back.
It is about what you expect from a resort so it has its pros and cons. It's all about what you want out of your trip and what you are willing to spend. Fine dining and buffet food was good but not so much for the Cocodillo. The Spa was perfect though! The room was humid and made it hard to sleep.
