We’ve had an amazing trip but nothing was better than the entertainment staff-Christian, Jedder, Alexa, Christopher, Nayad, Deivi, Katy, and Rusbell. They are so friendly and take the time to get to know you and engage you in all activities.

Particular staff saved our trip, food was subpar wine be back
The service at the buffet with Wendy and Jefferson was great. Ignacio, Franklin, Jonathon and Josue were awesome they made our stay a fun filled one. We did a dinner tasting with Jonathon which was wonderful, Ignacio who works at the spa was amazing and helped when we ran into issues. Most of the food was subpar but the morning buffet was good, the steakhouse was good as well. Marvin who was our personal butler was a huge disappointment! He really only contacted me the day we got there and then basically ghosted us until we complained on Thursday but we had arrived Sunday. I didn't get most of what I asked for so I'm not sure why we even had a personal butler at that point, we went with a group and people who had him as well said the same thing. I was told multiple times the person in charge of him would contact me and that never happened either. Honestly the people who I mentioned above saved our trip. I won't be going back to this hotel because we had so many issues and the food was subpar but some of the workers really made our trip.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Stay Away from Planet Hollywood Costa Rica! Our stay at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica was a complete disaster. From the moment we entered our room, we were hit with an unbearable stench — it smelled like hell. It was disgusting and completely ruined our stay. We immediately reported the issue, but despite multiple attempts, they couldn’t fix it. We had to sleep in that awful smell for three nights. To make matters worse, they promised us a two-night credit (out of our three-night stay) as compensation, but guess what? We never received anything. Not a refund, not a voucher, nothing. We followed up with several emails, and they just ignored us. No response, no resolution. Total radio silence. Don’t be fooled by their friendly staff or fake smiles — it’s all a show. Once you have a real issue, they vanish. They lied to us, plain and simple. If this is how they treat their guests, they don’t deserve your business. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth your money, your time, or your sanity.

Hollywood Hills Activity
Did the Hollywood Hills workout with Jorge and it was intense! A great workout during our first visit to Costa Rica. 💪🏼 Highly recommend the gym and activities through Pumped. Jorge and the rest of the staff are very friendly and highly motivating!

Planet Hollywood was good. The staff was great. The entertainment was good. The food ok. Is it my best resort no. However, the staff made up for it. Huge shout out to Jedder, Christopher, Christian, Nayad, Curro, Katy, Deivi, Russbel, and Alexa
