    We had a wonderful time at the Buoy House!! While enjoying the pool a very nice young man made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything, his name is Belto and he was awesome!!

    Relaxing stay - loved the tide pool!

    We really enjoyed our stay at Buoy Haus! It’s super chill, right on the beach, and has the perfect laid-back vibe if you’re looking to relax without the crowds. We also loved the shuttle over to the Westin. It’s nice to have easy access to more food options while still staying somewhere more low-key. If you go, definitely try the iced coffee from Frenchman’s Roast and don’t miss the breakfast buffet at Shorebird. It’s amazing. We also did the catamaran tour through the hotel that goes to St. John. The boat itself was really nice and the crew was great, but there wasn’t a ton to do in Cruz Bay when we got there. Most places were closed since it was a Sunday. We grabbed lunch at North Shore Deli though and it was delicious. They have sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies that hit the spot. We were supposed to go to Honeymoon Beach afterward, which was a big reason we booked the tour, but instead they just took us snorkeling near a different island. The snorkeling was fun, but it was disappointing not to get to see the iconic beach we signed up for. As far as the hotel itself, the room could use a little work. It felt a bit beat up and could’ve been cleaner, especially for the price. The food overall was good but not anything extraordinary. We did love the kids’ menu for easy pool day snacks. The burger at Salt Shack was great, and the pizza at Sandbar hit the spot too. Drinks have been solid and the service has been great across the board. Everyone has been super sweet and responsive. One of the highlights of our trip was hanging out at the Tide Pool Bar with Cassie. She was our bartender and server and made the whole experience better. She gave us awesome local recommendations, made great drinks, and was genuinely so sweet and fun to chat with. She definitely made our trip more memorable. Thank you, Cassie!
