Jul 14, 2025Long Weekend Anniversary Trip
We arrived to Breathless Riviera at approximately 11:30 am and were immediately greeted with a cool towel which was very refreshing and baggage handlers. Check in process was a bit frustrating as we were told to have a seat nearby but then got skipped twice. It wasn't until Philip noticed my frustration and happily assisted us with the process. I didn't like the "required" solicitation of services by Gonzales, but I understand they want us to understand everything the property can offer. Our room was not immediately available but I made sure to pack swimwear just in case of that situation so we were able to change and start enjoying the poolside bar immediately! Johan and Maria were happy to get our 1st drinks of the day and were especially welcoming! We wandered around the property a bit and enjoyed nachos and sliders from Bites, and were able to take in some great "people watching" on the party side. We were notified via email of our room being ready and were personally escorted. The room was BEAUTIFUL, clean and we especially appreciated the Happy Anniversary banner and champagne to celebrate! We chose the buffet for quick dining and was pleased with the variety. Full Day #1 Vincent & Enrique, the pool attendants were constantly making sure that we had what we needed. They are super friendly and make it a point to learn our names and celebration occasion on the first day. We mostly stuck to the quieter pool because we loved the lower volume entertainment. Roger & Edwin made sure our drinks were fresh and served our lunch order from the oceanside pizza bar, which was WONDERFUL! I was happy that we got an entire day poolside. We reserved the hibachi experience that evening and were sadly sat with a "grumpy" crowd, and the restaurant temperature was extremely uncomfortable. The chef presentation was amazing and the food was great, just wished for better company. Full Day #2 (anniversary day) started off with an excellent room service breakfast, and while relaxing in our private swim up area Vincente asked what we had planned for the day. I mentioned it was BEACH DAY and he happily offered to set us up a spot on the beach! When we were ready, he escorted us to an amazing spot he had reserved with fresh towels and introduced us to Juan who made sure all of our needs were met the entire day! Lunch at the buffet again for a quick option. Food variety was again decent, however I feel like at least a "covered-up" dress code should be enforced. I did not enjoy all the bikini tops around the self serve stations. Dinner was at the steakhouse and the food was incredible! Last Day (BOO) We got up early to watch the beautiful sunrise with our amazing lattes from Nook (try the Nutella Frappe)! Another great room service breakfast and strolled the resort a bit more. We made sure to thank all the staff members that were so very kind to us. Check out process was easy again with Philip attending to us, and Amstar transport was on time to get us safely to the airport. Thank you for an AMAZING anniversary trip! We are already planning to return!

Excellent!
My husband and I had a fantastic 7-day vacation! We upgraded to the Xhale Club which we found worthwhile. We loved the exclusive service at the Xhale pool, The complimentary spa treatment and the included bottle of champagne. Alan at the Xhale pool is the sweetest, most attentive bartender. Vincent and Enrique, the pool attendants were constantly making sure that we had what we needed. They are super friendly and make it a point to learn your name on the first day. We mostly stuck to the quieter pool because we loved the entertainment provided by the Entertainment Team. Ivan, Angel and Eric kept us entertained the entire time. They are amazing! We enjoyed people watching at the party pool but did not stay for very long. The beach area is small and there is a lot of seaweed so we mostly stuck to short walks on the beach. The food is surprisingly fantastic! We loved the breakfast buffet and had lunch from Bites (seafood and small plates) delivered to the pool by the Xhale staff (another great perk)! Picante was our favorite restaurant by far but they are all good. Secrets is adjacent to Breathless. It is also adult only and all-inclusive but has less of a party scene and the rooms are more expensive. Secrets guess eat at the restaurants at Breathless, which is likely why the quality is so good. The nighttime entertainment is great. Don't skip the shows! The neon show was amazing and the magic show was surprisingly great. We also loved the Mexican heritage tonight. Overall, we would return to this resort!

Victor Pool Concierge was so kind and so helpful we had the best day ever when he helped us with the cabana! He even decorated it!

Best of the Best!
This was my first all inclusive resort & it did not disappoint! Actually I felt as though I was in a dream throughout my whole stay. I was treated with utmost respect & ate like a King. The food choices were more than my mind could think up. The atmosphere was high energy but at night was serene & beautiful. I highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for fun. For a quiet time I’ve heard that the Secret side provides. I didn’t ever want to leave!!!
