Perfect for R&R
My wife and y really enjoyed this resort. The food was amazing and the people were very friendly. We upgraded to the Prestige service and felt the upgrades were worth it, especially the Prestige Lounge for Breakfast, Dinner. We enjoyed drinks after dinner served by Richie, the best bartender. Our butler, Dan The Man was very attentive and took the service to the next level! The service on the beach in the Prestige area was great and provided the rest and relaxation we needed!

It’s ok but I won’t be back
My rooftop room was good. We had privilege. The privilege lounge was great. We ate there for a few breakfasts, a lunch and 2 dinners. It was consistently great. That lounge saved us. We went there for premium drinks and services. Without it I don’t think I would have enjoyed it. Sugar Cane was very slow to seat and serve us. We ended up leaving and ate at Privilege Lounge. Sakura was ok. The food was not great. Presentation was good. Mikes was awesome! Martha’s was good. Captain’s Market was great! Didn’t see the Senses show. I was very disappointed about that. They now charge for the show but it used to be included. The spa was disappointing. The water in the hydrotherapy pool was cold. The stream room and sauna were good. Beautiful property until you look closely. The fixtures not installed properly like the railings and the phone in the bathroom. The hot tub has missing planks. The buttons were not working or disabled. Definitely not a 5 star resort. The advertisement video shows massages on the beach, but they no longer offer those. Just felt like it appears better than it actually was. It was ok. But I won’t be back.

Average
We stayed at the adults only side and The hotel is maintained but there was a giant bug trap full of roaches on our balcony and the hotel itself is run down. For only being open 4 years it felt like a really old place. Chipped tiles all Over the rooms and resort. Food is good not great. The overall service is subpar for it advertising itself being a 5 star resort. Staff was not friendly. They actually seemed angry and unhappy which lends itself to a poor working culture. They need to be treated better to give better service and energy to clients. Pool is very nice, however there aren’t enough towels or any beach or pool chairs for the amount of guests and the hotel is unable to handle capacity and volume. Literally zero pool service or beach service and it’s like the hunger games to find a spot to sit and get towels and drinks. There was a daily anxiety every morning to get up early and claim our beach chairs. That is unacceptable for a supposed 5 star experience. We also got and “exclusive” Super Bowl viewing and they were not able to keep the viewing going and the sound was awful. We won’t go back and it’s a shame. They need new management. Glenford and Akeem were the standard to look for.

Solo Birthday Trip
First time coming to Jamaica and it was amazing. This was a solo birthday trip. My room was massive and I had a huge balcony. Everyone who worked here was very nice and respectful! I went to the Steakhouse twice, first time wasn’t that good but the second time was great! The Marlin during lunch was amazing, had their stewed pork and another day I had their curry goat! They were just amazing! Their ice cream shop opens 4pm every day! Flavors change and they have toppings! I just had one small con (doesn’t affect my rating), we have to wake up to try and save a seat by the pool. On my third day, I tried to save a seat and someone came later and tried to save that same seat for themselves and also weren’t there either. That is one of the most annoying things at this resort but I spent more time at the beach where I had more opportunity to have a seat and relax.

Great Trip
Resort was lovely, so was the staff. Food was amazing and Dan the Man (our butler) was very attentive. We saw him all over the resort and he was always high energy and friendly. For us the beach was a bit of a miss but we still enjoyed our time by the pool.
